I find it odd that Americans are obsessed with yoga. I'm from South India and I'm a Christian who's a born again believer. We never talk about yoga or mediation, because our forefathers were Hindus who converted to Christianity and left the Hindu practices behind them! It's so dangerous to bring these practices into your homes and churches because they are the gateway for Satan to enter into your mind and your home! Everyone who's lived in India and is a follower of Jesus Christ, and a born again believer knows this!

A lot of Americans don’t understand these things and are misled
Americans have so much Christianity that some of it is not real Christianity. So it leaves a gap or God should live in the soul but doesn't. We are body and soul. We searched for God through religion. How are we to know if we have found the wrong one if there's nobody to show us the true God.

Started speaking in tongues, had graphic visions in clouds, bangs in house, pictures falling off walls, hearing voices, bright flashes of light in room. Didn't know Bible prior. Sins of fornication, palm read 2x, ghost hunting. Went to Protestant Pentecostals for help & got worse w/ kundalani before I even knew what it was called. It's throughout charismatic churches, sending people to mental institutions
Hi Steven! I practiced yoga for about 15 years. I set up a little corner of my basement with yoga books, cd's, mats, candles, and a huge wall decal with the om symbol which said " I bow to the divine in you". I also bought a few New Age books which I thought would help me grow spiritually. As a special needs teacher, I even taught yoga to girls in my school during lunch. I am a Christian from birth and never thought that this would have any impact on my faith but it did. I suffered from sporadic sleep paralysis which always scared me and I used to think that there was something wrong with me and it worried me for many years. I also would wake up from my sleep gasping and "see" a shadow looking over me and I would get terribly scared. This happened for many years and I never knew what it meant. I don't know what sparked my curiosity of looking up what yoga really is, but I did last year and came across your first post when you were saved. I've also been watching many videos on the subject and people converting from New Age to Jesus. I sat on the fence about it for many months wondering what to do, reasoning to myself that it's all about intent. However, I could feel God pulling me back to Him, so I decided to finally quit yoga. I got rid of the wall decal, the books, and everything yoga and New Age. The sleep paralysis stopped and so did the shadows. I bought my own beautiful Bible which I now read with a thirst for God's Word and my faith has grown stronger. Thank you and God Bless you for being a light in the world...

A push up is not a pose, it is a series of back and forth movement.
I did yoga for years back in my early 20’s, and the pose you are talking about is so much more than a pushup.
Yes there is a moment the yoga pose resembles a push up, but the poses you do before as well as after is different.
So before entering into the push up like part, and then exiting the push up part, is all very important (how you enter and exit poses is apart of yoga).
So yeah, it is much more than just a push up. 😯

You are right. In Canada a few years ago there was an article in the news paper about Hindu students doing a protest at University about the yoga classes ,calling it appropriation of religion and marketing it.
@@almadeluz501 Oh, so you have to be very careful when doing a pushup? Like, don't go to slow, or get in position in an improper way? So if you move your body accidentally in the wrong way, mimicking a yoga pose, you become a conduit for demonic spirits? Gotcha.
Chris E, not at all. A push-up and the “chaturanga pose” are nothing alike in their motions. The differences are very large and not even close, so ya won’t have to worry ^__^
I get what your sarcasm is saying, but it is not a likely scenario to mix up a push up and the yoga move we are talking about.. look it up and educate yourself.
It’s not about going tit for tat and “almost doing this” or “sort of resembling that”.
No, we are straight up talking about yoga. Yoga is much more than a stretch. Not only is the movement into a pose and out of a pose very precise, it is also tied deeply in breathing and mind, and is a purely Hindu religion practicing act..
Just because you use the poses as stretches, is not enough to completely deny or change the fact that the poses you are doing are straight worshipping Gods of a certain religion.
No matter if you tell yourself you are not worshipping a God, and you tell yourself that so it can fit into your lifestyle to your liking, doesn’t change what it is in it’s essence, and what people recognize it as (people who study yoga at the very least, a lot of “new age practices” are trying to make it into a commodity and sell it. Consumeristic tactics promise “peace and well being”, of course it’s a money making media sensation.
Reminds me of a dude I met once who worshipped Lucifer, but said God is not real, and neither is the Bible. And I said “Lucifer came out of the Bible, he was created by God. There is no accepting Lucifer without accepting his creator and origin and his ties”.. and after the guy used no ration and began to argue with me, I shut my mouth, and let him be.
Just as I will let you be with your thought. I may not agree with what you have to say, and vice versa, but I defend your right to say it 👍
This is absolutely terrifying. I was invited to join a couple of yoga classes over the years and there was always something else that would pop up during those dates that would prevent me from attending. Thank the good Lord.

I once went to a meditation class, my first and last. I am sure God intervened and caused me to have the worst coughing fit I've ever had, I just coughed and coughed, my eyes were running and I was disturbing the whole class, I had to leave it just wouldn't stop. I'm sure God was trying to stop me doing this class.

I think its fair to mention that self help literature can be a gateway to new age. Believing it can heal and fill the hole in the soul, when in truth only Jesus can do that.

@@hugodemouramarques Please stay away from it. Dont even entertain the thought. It will bring demonic spirits upon you and some even have died from it. I have never done it but when my brother and I were in Costa Rica traveling through Latin America we stayed in a hostel where a young man in our room did it in the middle of the night. We had to carry him down like 3 sets of steps and into a uber then into the ER because 1/2 his body was paralyzed and half his head was swollen. Ive heard some say it made them let go of a lot of their past and they felt a loving spirit but the devil will masquerade as good if he can suck you into something worse or put a spirit on you the rest of your life. I feel the same way about Rock and Roll... Being a musician for over half of my life, I got to learn all of the dark secrets of it's underbelly. I had to completely give it up because whenever I tried to return to it, it would bring back all of those old thoughts and feelings I had before I was saved. Giving up my dream to be a successful musician was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Bryan Brown... very interesting "from the underbelly of rock--- secrets". I'm not a musician but had a huge love for genres of music... rock being the one I had on rewind. Now, i dont listen to any secular music/ t.v/movies ....just because I too can feel the spirit of em... waiting for just a touch of your ear/ feeling/emotion/etc. Even writing this... ugh! I grew up christian, but never fully read the bible. I fooled around with astrology and that led me to learning about the 3rd eye and kundalini. I was pretty successful with getting the attention of demons and successful with opening my 3rd eye.
And once I had a dream ,when I was practicing opening my 3rd eye,about a gigantic serpent who was sleeping under a mountain. I mentally was going through tunnels until I saw the serpents face, and he woke up. The ground began to shake and he burst forth from the mountain and hurled balls of fire down to the inhabitants in the valley. His body almost seemed like it was spilling from the mountain, like he had multiple bodies but one head and leveled the mountain it seemed like.
Repenting and turning from all of that crap was the best thing I ever did for myself. Grabbed my bible and started to drink it up like I hadn't had a drop in a thousand years.

Honestly I went through something similar. A pyscosis experience. You just gotta get past the purging of bad energy. It's a cleansing process. And you probably didn't have proper guidance. If you eat meat you are gonna have a hard time. But now I practice Hare krishna and its Monothesim. not oneness. I feel better than I ever did. I mediate and engage my chakras fully. I have a sense of love in my heart for God. I like Christians. but I don't like how Christians blasphemy a religion and say their religion is the only way. Very fear based. Don't blame us because you couldn't handle the process or didn't take it seriously under guidance. I'm not demonic at all. I'm a gentle humble guy who helps others and works in goodness, I don't do drugs, i don't drink, I do masterbate, aI don't do any demonic activities. I don't know how you guys think this is some work of Satan.

Putting all focus on oneself and allowing yourself to be open to all matter of matter of spirits who as long as you are not resisting them are behaved.
I didnt just quit after that dream I had. Someone like you convinced me that I just needed to keep pursuing, proper guidance because I did it wrong and things got worse and worse until I'm pretty sure i was almost possessed if I wasnt already. I felt very gaslit by those who kept telling me I did it wrong even though I was doing what they had said.
I dont disrespect your religion, but hare Krishna is derived from Hinduism. Its branched off and they do believe in the demonic and that it does exist and is very real to them. There are plenty of them in the hindu pantheon. Hare Krishna its a very new religion established in 1966. Its pretty much a hindu version of Christianity.Just like catholicism is the Roman version of christianity. And I can understand its reason for exisance considering Christians are being persecuted in India.

Presently in Bali, where I became a born again Christian 25 years ago (Bali is a Hindu island, in the biggest Muslim country in the world, Indonesia... God has a great sense of humour!).
Although I love my sisters here, I have stopped attending church. The teaching is not sound, and they’re ALL doing yoga, including the American pastor.
I warned them so many times, but instead of heeding the warnings, they ostracised me for speaking the truth.
Last time I went to bible study, we sat in little groups of 5, and everyone in my group was doing yoga. I was telling them of the dangers, when the pastor’s wife stood beside me and said how much she looooooved yoga!
I felt like telling her “get thee behind me, satan”! I was so mad at her for leading my sisters astray....

Check out "The Last Reformation". Pray for them, but it's OK not to attend. It sounds like you're better off spending time in the word. I've had a few trips to Bali and I find the spiritual climate there very tough. I hope you can find other believers to fellowship with.

I practiced yoga years ago when I was also involved in witchcraft, and the enemy truly tried to destroy me during that time. When I lost my job due to being late, bc I was inhaling gas from a gas leak in my apartment; I turned to a friend who was a Kundalini yoga instructor because I was feeling so out of control with my life. This demonic destruction had already been set into motion because I had started practicing magic previous to this time period (tarot & had decided that Christianity was untrue) Ironically she took me through a series of chants which was supernatural and ritualistic in nature; moreseo than any other yoga experience I had done this far, it was truly the religious aspect and not the stretching alone, which was what I was doing for stress relief. Just a couple of nights ago I felt God speaking to me about an alliance that I made with the demon god of shiva, and for the life of me I couldn’t remember when or if that had ever happened as I would never have consciously done this. However; after hearing this; I recalled that I was doing about an hour of meditative and very intense chants with this woman, some with varying arm movements. I did self-deliverance and renounced all allegiance to shiva in the name of Jesus and commanded the demon to loose its hold over my life. But I am sure at this point I must have done something like this without realizing it.
Yes also the warrior pose; I remember this as well and I remember a check in my conscience literally the first time I ever did it. I was not a Christian at the time but I remember it.

Very scary and serious stuff we are messing with when we get involved in yoga and meditation. I tried the warrior poses last year in my living room, I was a believer, but I thought yoga was harmless. Then I learned more about it soon after. It got more sinister the more I learned, and the Lord showed me truth about it. I also tried meditation and thought I felt the kundalini serpent coiling my spine, from the base to my neck and my head felt tingly like something was definitely inside my body. It scared me. I stopped meditating and never did yoga again, I tell everyone I know not to do either of these practices, along with any of the new age stuff, crystals, angel guides, tarot, energy. It is nothing to fool around with. Satan hates God’s children. he wants us all tormented with him. He is the deceiver. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to the Father. He meets us right in the midst of our mess and calls you by His name.

I have been a Christian for many years. About 3 years ago or so I was in a great deal of pain and went to yoga classes (the stretching kind). It helped me a great deal BUT The whole time I was in those classes I was conscious that God was not pleased. I finally stopped going and only took Pilates classes instead. I tried the whole repeat Jesus Name a lot and focus on a passage of scripture the whole time not even realizing the kind of evil I was submitting myself to. I am Listening to this program and now all can do is sit here and ask for forgiveness of even being in and participating with these Yoga instructors. Thank you for opening my eyes to my need to repent of this specific thing.
I was a Christian in massage therapy school. We were led through yoga, meditation and tai chi practices. I had no idea that it went against my beliefs. I was seeking God so desperately and hadn't been warned about these things. That was the only time in my life that I had been so depressed that I wanted to end my life. I left the church, and years later God drew me back to Him.

I used to practice yoga for three months believing it would relieve my stress. It brought back my childhood sleep paralysis even more vehemently and I’d hear things happening that weren’t happening while I was awake alone at night. I would also feel an evil presence during my paralysis or sometimes see dark figures standing over me. I didn’t understand what was going on until my father, who’s a pastor, admonished me for practicing something I didn’t know the extent of. As soon as I quit, so did the sleep paralysis. That night I had a vision of being delivered from all the stress, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. The lord and angels rejoiced over me with beautiful singing and my spirit joined in. I can’t remember the song but it was beautiful. I told my dad about it because I didn’t understand what it meant then. I never turned back. Praise the lord for his deliverance and his rod and staff! Now that I know what it meant, I freely give the Lord my life. He saved it so he definitely deserves it ❤️

I continued to practice yoga for a few months after I was saved, because I didn't know any better! Then the Holy Spirit began convicting me, and soon afterwards lead me to discover Mike Shreve's testimony on RUclips. I broke down in tears, dropped to my knees in repentance and haven't practiced yoga since! Thankyou, and God bless both of you for your precious service to our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

Hey, totally unrelated question but I wanted to ask do you guys believe Jesus to be the literal son of God or it's just figurative.
Actually I had an argument with someone where I stated Jesus as the son of God but the guy said he was just another prophet and didn't claim to be divine. I searched the internet but the answers were divided so I figured I could ask a real Christian what they actually believe.

If you read the gospel of John chapter 1 it really clarifies things. ...." in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God........... and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us....... that's Jesus! Could you see the eye while your eyes were open, closed or both. My Mom used to tell me that she could see a big eyeball staring at her whether her eyes were open or closed. Only at night and it really disturbed her for a while. I'd thought that it was something related to her past (botched) eye surgery but your comment makes me ponder it more. I'm glad that you're not doing yoga anymore. Me either. God took me away from many things before I even had understanding. He truly is Amazing!

My mother is an RN and got it. She believes that Jesus will protect her. If you’ve ever read Revelation, the vaccine is clearly NOT the mark. And this is based on the original Greek text if you don’t believe me. It’s not scriptural. Only Facebook and Twitter based Christian are saying that it is.

When I was deceived in doing "holy" yoga, I felt distant from God, my prayer life felt hindered and I felt I was surrounded by confusion for a couple of years. Very subtle, deceitful and dangerous is this practice. So glad to have my eyes opened to the true demonic nature of practicing yoga. I have repented and stopped soing yoga now for 2 years and my relationship and closeness to God has been restored! I no longer have the cloud of confusion or feel distant from my Father God, my Savior Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit that dwells in me. There’s always been something very strange, a feeling in the pit of my stomach that never felt right about yoga and meditation. So glad the Holy Spirit was warning me all those years. Now I know why.
I have been told by so many friends and family to practice yoga for relaxing and calming myself.
BUT...something in my heart always told me not to do so and when I had a dream of our lord (the point I decided to become a Christian from Hinduism) and found out how evil it is to practice yoga and I am glad that the Holy Spirit never allowed me to even try it for once.

I am a teacher. They are pushing us to teach mindfulness and yoga in our classes. Our school has adopted a mindfulness curriculum that I am required to teach. The Holy Spirit has let me to understand that this is wrong, idolatry, and opens us up to demonic attacks. (The one time I tried to meditate, I suffered my first anxiety attack. I suffered for years afterwards.) I am a new teacher, so I am silently refusing to teach this curriculum. However, as a parent, I have notified my daughters school and teachers that I do not want them to participate in anything mindful or yoga related. Many students are suffering from hearing voices and other bizarre occurrences. This is scary how it is targeting our young children! We have to educate parents, and continue to speak out against new age practices! Also, there are many children’s books that glorify magic, witch craft, gods, Demi god’s, and expose children to darkness. 1 out of 5 books.
Mindfulness is a simple psychological practice, that is a fundamental in almost all mental therapies. Just because a means of cultivating mindfulness was conceived of by some organized religion, does not make it inherently that religion... This is a fundamental attribution error.
In the old days we'd send kids to detention and slap them on the wrist. We now know how psychologically damaging this is. A better method is to send a kid to detention and have them reflect upon their state of emotional intelligence, so they go forward in the world without being so overwhelmed and attached to this relative qualia.
Mindfulness is just that.
Remeber as a kid being told to concentrate, we'd squint our eyes and try to force our thoughts... Mindfulness opens up the intuitive understanding of what concentration actually is; it allows you to step back from the minds insecure idealisms and simply be with the task at hand, fully absorbed and in that flow state.
Oh btw, Mihali stutided the vedas, and was influenced by the various levels of samadhi, when coining the term "flow state". So better watch out for any of those demonic flows. Hahaha

Over the past few months getting into yoga and mediation, I've constantly felt a dread of doing it despite everyone saying how good it is for you or healing, etc. I'd dread doing it, especially the breath work! Because I haven't been able to go to the gym, I thought I might as well try yoga. I forced myself almost every day to do it. It feels so unnatural and no matter what it's never a lasting satisfying feeling. It's like you're always trying to reach this higher state that just isn't possible. It's spread so much on instagram and youtube. Thinking about it all now makes me sick to my stomach! Literally this past weekend I was all about the lion's gate opening and meditating through it and last week I wrote out a scripting manifestation. I'm honestly disgusted with myself that I was just doing these practices last week. I even just bought some crystals a week ago and now regret (also, they were stupid expensive). I threw out all my Eckhart Tolle books and astrology books. I also unfollowed all these spiritual pages on Instagram, Twin flames, psychic readings, and astrology pages 🤮

Ask about it in your kids schools. My son came home telling me they were doing that in his Christian preschool. I had to talk to some people to make sure he was not going to do it again. It was a good learning experience and now my son knows the dangers of yoga.
HOw tragic. Prayer cannot be said in most schools, but Yoga (which is HINDUISM) is being taught. Yoga is hinduism. As more and more Indians come to the US, Europe, Africa and around the world looking for word, economic opportunities and schooling, they are taking their religious beliefs with them and presenting them to Christians and weak believers as exercise, enlightenment and other such nonsense. Christians need to refer to the word of God. This is ALL evil and opposes the teachings of Jesus.
I am a Christian from India. I pray and encourage for all my foreign brothers and sisters in Christ to rebuke accepting New age and Hindu practices. Seeing a following trend of foreign Christians believing in such malpractices always raises eyebrows of why native Christians here like me do not join in reading horoscopes, bowing down to idols, praying to their different gods & goddesses and many more.
What grabs me most is how easy it is to get tripped up into these things, even as a Christian. My doctor recommended yoga. My doctor also recommended acupuncture. I chose not to partake, I just couldn't get it to sit comfortably with my spirit no matter how hard I tried. There is no end to the methods the enemy will take, and we must remain steadfast in our walk with God. Stay in the Word, find teachers of sound doctrine. Everyone, please pray for my mom and best friend. They are both under the impression that they can be New Agers and followers of Jesus at the same time. They both have very little discernment. Anytime I tell them to watch what they are getting into, they both become oddly defensive and tell me to stop being “scared”. I’m not scared of jack, but I have enough sense to know you can’t jump back and forth between two religions. My mom tells me I can do these kind of practices, but towards Jesus. We already know that’s nonsense. It’s annoying because they do all this stuff and wonder why their problems aren’t going away, yet I keep trying to tell them why. Please pray for them to realize this stuff is evil and stop.

I remember going to an Ashtanga class (My first and only time going to one) and the whole time I’m thinking I’m in for this special routine core workout (ultimately it is since it breaks you out in such a sweat from all the different movements and positions) So then boom ! The beginning just starts out with a mantra prayer that everyone in the class including the instructor knows and I’m just there like “uhhhhh” not knowing it was a part of it . And then in the end , it ends off with the prayer as well . I find out afterwards that Ashtanga has “Sun Salutations” which is a series of movements done to basically salute the Sun or I guess to praise and submit to it . I didn’t think much of it then but now it makes sense . Also not till recently have I started getting into mantras and not really saying them much but listening to them . Not too long ago I listened to a Krishna mantra before I went to sleep . I then fall asleep to a Dream where I come across some Indian women hovering over my body smiling , then licking at me in the private area and making me feel uncomfortable. I was vigilant yet a bit naive just saying “maybe it was just a bad dream and I just got attacked by an entity” but recently I’ve listened to a Shiva mantra before I went to sleep. I then have a dream of the deity on my television and I’m looking close up and it has horns on its forehead . So now it’s all clear to me that these Yogic practices is more than just something to help the mind and the soul. I’ve been shown that it is the opposite.

It's great bringing these people onto cam to talk about their testimonies and journey in faith/conviction. I thank God for the stand against compromises we often make that you are so emboldened to fight. It's incredibly inspiring!! One thing I'd like is less clickbaity titles(and sometimes approaches) that feel less genuine than the meat of the Gospel.
A big reason not to do yoga, it occurs to me, is that God does NOT want us to copy or imitate the ways of the pagans and how they worship their false gods (which also happen to be real spirits). That makes practicing any type of yoga direct disobedience to God.
I'm glad u said these spirits are real..but NOT GOD. I see many who throw the whole thing out , not making that distinction the the beings exist but simply aren't what they claim to be.. these demonic forces are crafty. I praise God ABBA Yah for his faithfulness and patience to teach. He is truly worthy. May He bless you sister..🙏

Steven you answered a question I had asked God recently, in this video!! It was about the kundalini spirit. There is a certain speaker who I saw a video of "prophesying" and "imparting the spirit" on a child, but when they did the child started screaming and writhing on the floor. Everyone in the video seemed to think this was normal. I want to make sure I never condemn the actual Holy Spirit, so I was asking God about it to be sure. And sure enough, the behaviors of the person were the same as the kundalini effects. It grieves me so much what people are doing in the name of God.
