The reason that kundalinli awakenings are dangerous is that most people have no idea what these ancient teachings are for and they are not at all prepared for the consequences of such an awakening. Most students of traditional yoga (instead of the modern fast-food version) spend many years in preparation for having an energetic or kundalini awakening. This includes facing one's own inner darkness such as generational cycles of abuse, childhood and adult trauma, societal and personal delusions and misperceptions about life, and so on. These are the very things that keep us trapped in a state of "sinfulness" or ignorance about life and our Creator.
I wasn't practicing yoga or even trying to have an energetic (kundalini) awakening but ended up having one anyway. I was way out of my depth, but within two months I found a traditional yoga teacher who helped to pull me out of the mouth of madness. This madness was the result of decades of hidden and repressed trauma and delusions about myself, other people, and life that arose into my awareness seemingly all at once. My yoga teacher threw me a lifeline with the proven and time-honored ancient wisdom and methods that are intended to prepare us for such a blessed event in our lives.
Do not mistake the power of our Creator as something demonic. This energy is the vital force of life itself. It's the very stuff of life itself. Without it, you wouldn't even be here to experience this earthly school of hard knocks. Please, let's not create more of a sense of separation from each other through this half-baked spiritual elitism.

For many of the religious people that claim there is only one god, they can often tend to act as if there are many gods. How can someone with the claim of only one God to exist, claim that someone else is worshipping another God? If there is only one God, surely there can't be another that's being worshipped.
I don't see how people struggle with the concept that there is only one god being worshipped, while they say there is only god to exist.
The Christian Bible clearly says you shall not worship other gods. If you take this as God's word and infallible, surely there isn't anybody that can ever worship any other god... it has to be the same God.

@@ericwhittington91 I view life in a similar manner. There is one Source--which is life itself. The rest are just mental constructs that we "believe" into existence within our personal perception or framework of reality. Nearly every person on the planet does this to some extent, including myself. I'm not special. That said, I understand on some level that if we truly want to know Divinity, then we must have a subjective experience of Divinity. The rest is just a belief system and not the real deal.
Most people have no desire to have their accepted framework of reality torn down so that they can have such a direct experience of Divinity. I can't blame them. For me, this process has often been an uncomfortable and even painful one. It's easier to say "f" it all and just go drink a beer, smoke some weed, eat a juicy hamburger, or get lost in endless other forms of distractions. This can even include getting spoon-fed someone else's idea of God and reality once a week instead of doing the difficult work of querying and exploring this life for ourselves. I'm not claiming that any one spiritual path is the best, because what works for me may not be optimal for another person at that stage in their life.

@@MatthewLogan777 Hello brother, I hear what you're saying, but my long voyage of spiritual seeking seems to be telling me that there IS a difference between the One "I AM presence" of the God of Moses, and the idea of an immanent, all-pervading life-force. The theistic God offers a mutually naming, face-to-face relationship between two persons, while the Life-force of yoga is something the seeker ultimately IS (Tat Tvam Asi). I realize I'm painting with a rather broad brush here, but after all, this a RUclips comments section! Let me know if you want to pursue it, and we can each make finer distinctions and seek the truth together.

      @MatthewLogan777 10 месяцев назад +1

@@Robb3348 I don't claim to be enlightened or have any spiritual expertise. Currently, like nearly everyone in this world, I'm just winging it from one day to the next. I was raised as a Catholic with a heavy Protestant influence from the other side of my family. I've since explored or investigated several religions or spiritual paths. That said, the idea of a personal "human" higher power, a Heavenly Parent, is just fine with me. Thou art That (Tat Tvam Asi) works as well for me as the previous concept of divinity, because there is no separation, except in appearances. Point at anything or anyone, seen or unseen, and there is a manifestation of Divinity. I see the Godhead as having different aspects, or functions, so to speak. No one religion, philosophy, or spiritual path has it all nailed down perfectly, but each seems to lean toward a certain aspect of the Godhead or functionality of creation.
I know that we all want well-defined answers to what this physical life is all about but I'm honestly not in a stage of spiritual growth from which I can make claims to have such answers. There are many figures throughout history who claim, and have shown some evidence, to have entered into a union with Divinity. The path of traditional yoga (from ancient India) appears to have produced many such spiritual masters. For now, I'm sticking with traditional yoga. Heaven bless you, brother, and the whole world.

Though I'm now in my 60's, I practiced yoga in my twenties and like yourself experienced a spontaneous and unexpected awakening of the kundalini. I became mentally ill and developed a strange open sore on my body, which I've never understood. On the advice of my yoga teacher I eased up on the yoga and the psychotic storm, along with the sore, gradually started to calm. However it took years to settle completely. So as such, I resonate with you regarding your own hidden trauma, because rightly or wrongly I've always thought that my own childhood traumas had at least something to do with it. However I get the impression that you see the kundalini as a genuine and positive spiritual energy, perhaps that resides in everyone and even divine in origin; this intrigues me because I've often puzzled about what this kundalini is when stripped of the Hindu beliefs and terminology which inevitability surrounds it. However my musings have always been tempered by the reality that shortly after all hell broke loose, I had a personal encounter with Jesus on my bed, which pointed me in an entirely new and unexpected direction. During the encounter, I came as it were, under new management and became very aware that I had been saved from a spiritual danger of which I was previously unaware. So whilst I remain cautious of the alarmist and over-the-top rhetoric used by some Christians about the demonic nature of the kundalini, on the basis of my encounter with Christ I cannot rule out, contrary to your view, that there is something spiritually wrong with the source of the kundalini.

I was trained from the time I was young to be afraid of yoga and meditation. Woulda been fine other than when I got deathly ill my soul rejected what I’d been taught for what it knew to be true.
I started to see my own delusions so clearly after the first out of body experience happened spontaneously. Id mistaken a part of myself as “God” for much of my life which did not serve me well.
My soul knew what it was doing. Eventually I could see how false religion is which really freed me. Eventually my mind taught itself how to fix the health issues and I’m making a recovery that defies science. Fortunately I can no longer believe in the version of God I was taught by people that now seem to me so full of self righteousness. The things I learned through meditation have led me to say “now I actually believe in Jesus.” I’m free not only from a disabling health condition but false religion and there is no greater gift!

@Maria Lobato. Namasthê. How nice of you to say - Love your podcasts ❤thank you for having important topics to teach Christian’s the truths.
Please propagate these Christian Truths and tell the entire western world that Yôga does not fit in any of the seven truths or the number of truths as you have been taught.
It is ironic that Clergy who are guardians of Truth in Christendom talks of Truths, but not living it. Are you aware that fellatio and buggery are also true, in that several Christian clergy practice them on Children? let's not go that route.
In this case, while we Hindus laugh at the western world's understanding of Yôga and Kundalini, we Hindus now use such mis-understanding to destroy Yôga in the west. Yôga was practiced in Bhàrath for thousands of years before Christ came on mama earth and we Hindus who follow Sanâthana Dharma will continue to practice Yôga.
      Love you people.

Good on you for speaking the truth! More people need to hear it. I told the teachers at my child's Catholic school I don't want my children participating in kids yoga - they looked at me like I was crazy. These Catholic teachers don't even read the bible let alone believe in a Spiritual dimension as explained in Ephesians. I encourage everyone to pick up the bible and read it, seek knowledge of God Hosea 6v6.
God is real and we will all be judged, He has revealed Himself to me as I was seeking the truth and I am not ashamed. May God bless anyone who reads this message.

Putting your palms together in prayer form is also a mudra.
In the English language, for christianity, atman would be your soul and brahman would be the holy ghost. Holy Ghost being the indirect form of god (impersonal god) Different cultures and languages use different words to speak. Being filled with the holy ghost leads to a personal relationship with god.
It isnt to say that you are god, it says that god is you. Christianity says god is all. These say the same thing. Different languages use different words and dont directly translate word for word or with sentence structure or tenses.
Jesus is often represented with a chakra, the crown chakra. Also called a halo. Different cultures use different words
Chakras have nothing to do with representing deities. The third eye represents the mind and being open represents having knowledge of god. Throat chakra means being able to speak or translate the word of god. Heart chakra - feel & share the love of god. Sacral, you can communicate with god... etc
Kundalini energy, christianity calls it the breath of god. Science just calls it energy... everything in the universe is energy

@@macintoshimann9892same, actually just figured it out right about now... been looking at what happened to me last year from yet another different angle (I'm still not quite right; traumatized most by getting Baker Acted at the height of the distress. Nice to know I'm officially not crazy, though).
It manifested because I was in a car accident, put on meds and diagnosed with a "TBI"... started losing control of my self and life. (Looks to actually be M.S. and autism, not a traumatic brain injury😂 whole story is too convoluted for YT)
Anywho, I saw the devil above me one night during the spell- that's what made me realize I need not hold back in my faith, as it clearly saved me. I'm sort of a "new ager" coming back closer to Christ over the last few years... through Him I'm figuring this all out and further releasing the trauma... oddly enough, (even with all these crystals on my table and evil eye carpets on my floor) I never considered that those weeks of seizures and looming death was a kundalini awakening, until today 🙏 as i was researching spontaneous deliverance 😅
Really glad I found this video (even though I won't be watching it) and y'all's comments. Talk about Confirmation 🙏 this has (literally) been one hell of a ride 🤸 God Bless 🕊️

Yoga postures stretch our body in a way our focus shift away from our energy centre and large energy is drawn out of the life force within. Though this would enhance our manifesting capacity but our focus which is supposed to be within and worship the god within move out to the action bands and we live a life based on actions and the excitement it gives. We are here to worship God or maintain our focus within and take the right kind of energy from within which we would experience as guidance and inspiration. Yoga makes you very worldly , you draw high energy from within and live a life of excitement and so depression followed by it.

Can I just say that the book of revelation is all about the awakening or opening up of the 7 seals. Also Just as Moses raised the serpent in the wilderness, so must the son of man be lifted up. When this energy is activated, in my case it was through experiencing intense suffering and asking the existential questions, it goes about its way redeeming one's conditioned structures, trauma, healing. Yes, I have had many christians say "he has a demon etc" but this is far from the truth. Christ the redeemer is a series of mystical events in which one is restored and risen from the grave (conditioning). There is no evil or devil in the universe. That is a man made construct. Yes this process can be frightening as the ego construct (your sense of separation) becomes to be dissolved. There is no other way one can enter the kingdom. Unless you become like a little child (free from your conditioned structures, fears, separation, anxiety etc, abiding in the present) you will by no means enter the consciousness of god (the kingdom). I wish you all love on this channel.

I didn’t believe any of this and am very much a reformed Baptist Christian but now I’m going through everything that the kundalini spirit teachings say happens. I don’t do yoga and don’t believe anything that it teaches.
I know all of this is from false religions.
I looked this up because I’m so scared right now my body is healing itself and my neck and back has been doing all of these things for the last three months and won’t stop. My neck is going crazy right now at this moment and it has healed my scoliosis but I’m Christian so I don’t understand why this is happening. I grace felt the chakras now so I know they are physically real but I still have to rely on my faith in Christ and I know so many Scriptures so I know that nothing can separate me from the love of God but this is seriously testing my faith… again. I feel like my faith has constantly been tested over and over throughout my whole life so why is this happening now?
Also a lot of medical professionals are now talking about stem cells that are dormant that can be “awakened” or “released” To m in order to heal the body.
I used this terahertz device that uses tarehertz frequencies to simulate dormant healthy cells and it’s literally healed me but I realized afterward it’s been going through all of the chakras… so I know how it happened and I don’t need to have surgery anymore and I’m not in so much constant pain but it conflicts with all of my Christian beliefs

It is indeed unfortunate that blind ignorance has resulted in such a distorted view of the science of yoga - who's highest purpose is to return the aspirant to the loving home of God the Father, while at the same time helping to create peace and harmony on earth. The falsehoods mentioned here are way too numerous to address, so for the sake of brevity, let me take a few short extracts from Paramahansa Yogananda's reverential work, 'The Second Coming of Christ' - "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life' (John 3:13-15). Commentary extracts - The word "serpent" here refers metaphorically to man's consciousness and life force in the subtle coiled passageway at the base of the spine, the matterward flow of which is to be reversed for man to reascend from body attachment to superconscious freedom. (And further on...) Jesus said that each son of man, each bodily consciousness, must be lifted from the plane of the senses to the astral kingdom by reversing the matterbent outflowing of the life force to ascension through the serpent-like coiled passage at the base of the spine - the son of man is lifted up when this serpentine force is uplifted, "as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness." We must reascend, just as Moses, in the spiritual wilderness of silence in which all desires were no more, lifted up his soul from body consciousness into God-consciousness through the same path by which it had descended. (And lastly...) Moses, Jesus, the Hindu yogi's, all knew the secret of scientific spiritual life. They unanimously demonstrated that every person who is yet physically minded must master the art of lifting up the serpent from sensory body consciousness in order to accomplish the first retracing of the inward steps toward Spirit. Any saint of any religion who has attained
God-consciousness has, in effect, withdrawn his consciousness and life force from the sense regions up throughout the spinal passage and plexuses (chakras) to the centre of God-consciousness in the brain, and thence into omnipresent Spirit. [So let not this divisive outpouring create further misunderstanding in the world. As Yogananda has written - Jesus lived and died for all. His teachings were universal; He was talking to all the people of the earth. He knew the Father. He was not talking of a divisive church or sect. He was talking of a God who flows through all religions and all nationalities, the God who made people of all races in His own image].

@deancooling3480. Seems evident to me that you are abusing well understood Christian words and concepts by giving them Hindu interpretations. As such you are forcing the Christian worldview to fit into the Hindu view of an impersonal source to all things.

@@109stevewilson That's the problem - the concepts you speak of are not well understood. That's why my brother, a 'born-again' Christian, would agree with you. In his eyes, I, like our 94 year old mother (who everyone loves and has never hurt a flea in all her life - yet has no faith), are among the 'unsaved'. In fact, the God of the Hindu's is the same personal benevolent God as that of the Christians. No one is forcing anything - you are free to accept or reject these truths. I accept them as they are far more reasonable, forgiving, and full of love and wisdom than the narrow, literal Biblical interpretations of fundamentalist Christians. When Jesus said - "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." He never meant that he was the sole Son of God, but that no one can go to the Father - beyond creation - unless he has first reached, by deep attunement, the Son, or Christ Consciousness, within creation. The blessed Lord Jesus had reached that lofty state, and was speaking as one with it. The Hindu's have the same concept as the Christ Consciousness - they call it Kutastha Chaitanya. Of course, you will not accept any of this - and that's ok. The truth is what it is regardless of our disagreement (a disagreement that ideally can exist in the right spirit of brotherhood).

"You are God. This is untrue". Uuuuh, God made man in His image and everyone in the world has psychic abilities to connect DIRECTLY to God (speak to Him, hear Him, get spiritual guidance, etc.) everyone is just "unaware" of their psychic abilities they were born with.
N don't give me that verse Leviticus 19:31 NIV: "'Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.".
That verse is just saying u shouldn't have to consult them cuz YOU ARE ONE YOURSELF! The entire bible was written by prophets. What are the synonyms to "prophet"? Psychics, mediums, spiritists and fortunetellers. They r all the same thing.
N by the way, God is the primary source of all energy in the universe that created all things n us in the universe. It is not a "He" or a "She". It is not a magic Daddy in the sky. Our souls r literally that primary source of energy "divided" into quadrillions of source consciousness (energy). Ur soul is called the "energy body". So yes, u r, in fact God. U r a part of God. God made u in His image (bible verse), therefore u literally have God's power within u to manifest (co-create) more into reality to ADD to the universe with this abundant energy.
God is not separate from u. "Christ is in all". Collosians 3 "Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all". Therefore, to get to the Father (God), u have to go thru the son, right? Well, the son is in u. Meditate, use ur psychic gifts u were born with n talk to the primary source of all energy n life aka "God" urself. Ur soul is a part of God which means u can talk to the primary source of all life urself.

Be cautious, occultists, spiritualists, new agers, and other religions speak in tongues too. This behavior is done when they feel good in an ecstatic trance state. The tongues in the Bible were actually real languages that people can understand in order to spread the gospel to foreigners. The saints spoke and read real words in foreign languages when it manifested, not gibberish like Padre Pio who could read foreign languages even though he only spoke italian. For over 1000 years this never happened. Not until Edward Irving false prophet predicting Christ return 1864 and Charles Fox Parham Jan 1, 1901 did this weird gibberish phenomena start becoming prevalent. Remember the devil comes as an angel of light. Instead of wanting to speak in tongues how about seeking truth and wanting to save souls. How about doing Matthew 22:37-39 instead of desiring to speak. There's also seeking truth, help forgiveness, helping widows, orphans, clothing and feeding the poor or lost, visiting people in jail, and the 10 commandments.

Wow, so u think our God created life force is evil? I find it sad that one religion has to be so ego filled, that it has to criticize another religion that it doesn't understand. With all the violence and hatred in the world, can't u be a little more aware of the negative energy you're putting out, especially after "Christianity" has waged so many wars? The process of awakening can cause symptoms, but is not evil. Many work and study life times to reach God consciousness and enligjtenment. Then it is more like possesssion by God! And many then have spiritual gifts to help others. U don't understand the meaning of Hindu God's, and i don't totally either, but Shiva could be a powerful destroyer of negativity.i heard of a girl that got healed by him, after being shot and saved her life. U can only serve God/Spirit or the ego, not both. Yoga saved my life and sanity. Years ago, in college. To each their own. God bless.❤❤❤❤❤😂😂and harm none.😊

To be more accurate, they've never even went away. You've not discovered ancient secrets, it's just gnostic theology. I'll explain the basic difference between new ageisms and the holy spirit:
New ageism often completely inverts it. In new ageism it's about coming to a realization that you are god or that god is within, you just need figure out the laws of the universe and then use them to alchemically transform. Through knowledge and gnosis you can achieve enlightenment. New ageism can often contain elaborate forms of mysticism, spirituality, astrology, syncretism, etc., etc... In New ageism, people think they become enlightened knowledge and their own works. Often it can translate into living from feelings, into study of non duality, into yoga, meditation, mindfulness, but all without surrendering to God and God's word. There's no repentance involved, no turning back to God. There's also often either an extreme focus on the spiritual (Docetism) or on matter. One common theme now days is people using quantum physics concepts to convince themselves they can control matter with their thoughts, mind and heart. So they think they can do things like use heart math brain coherence or meditation to make their body and mind more coherent, and then their coherence will transform matter. They also tie things like visualization, or use prayer groups and prayer circles, so concepts like power of 8 meditation groups. The idea with those is 8 people visualizing and praying on something can exponentially more powerful than 1, and its true, but its not the same as relying on the holy spirit. So they think 8 people praying together in a coherent and focused way can heal others, transforms others, or even create a new planet, a new reality so to speak. This is where "new age" comes from. It's a perversion of these verses:
      - Revelation 21:1 - "Then I saw a new heaven and a new Earth"
      - Isaiah 65:17-19 - “See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.”
      - 2 Peter 3:13 - “But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.”
      - Isaiah 66:22 - “‘As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,’ declares the Lord, ‘so will your name and descendants endure.’”
The holy spirit though comes by believing in God and Jesus and that Jesus is our savior who died on the cross and then was resurrected in 3 days. Jesus was the only begotten son of God, he was born into virgin by the name of Mary through the holy spirit. He was holy and pure and was killed by man, he was both fully man and fully god. All throughout the Bible, there are prophecies that predicted his coming. Many of the teachings in the Bible represent the Word/Order/Logos. When Jesus came, he showed us the way, the truth and the life. By belief in him and what he did we get imparted with his righteousness, and it requires just faith, then through that faith we humble ourself to what it has to show us. The holy spirit can dwell and work within us, and if we submit to it, it can transform us.
