4 Common Reasons your MTB Shock "Loses Air"

- We hear a lot of questions from riders who note PSI drops, particularly on new suspension.
Here are 4 reasons you might be noticing your shock pump reads lower than you suspect when you're setting up your bike.
2 are VERY common, and in fact aren't a suspension issue at all but can be corrected with technique.
If neither of these are your problem you can test the shock at a static PSI for a day or two and see if you have a pressure drop.
If you do, it's likely time for a service. If you don't, well you might still need a service but you'll have a couple more ideas as well.
