- Just a brief video of Ed shooting the Beretta 92X Compact 9mm during the evaluation process.
This is all 15 yards, standing, using 115-grain full metal jacket factory loads on a 4-inch target, followed by an 8-inch steel plate.

I hope you ignore the couple lame comments criticizing your shooting. I think you did great. That’s a 4” circle at 15 yards. Nice work! Also kudos for firing a lot of them in double action. Nothing drives me more crazy than watching someone review a DA/SA handgun in which they fire the entire time in single action. Thanks for the video!

This is a video demonstrating this particular pistol.. not someone's range skills. Yet you always get all the experts commenting on how your shooting/ what your doing wrong. You have to be a bad shot before you can be a good one. Hes probably a new pistol owner and not a bad shot in my opinion. Is his form perfect? Idk but he has 4 inch grouping and thats the point. Anyways how about some comments on the actual pistol.. I'm thinking of buying this one. Also considering one of the sig Sauers compact nightmare series. Can anyone comment on the trigger pull in DA ?
If that's the one that carries 13 in the mag. I've wanted one for 20+ years. Hard to find though & no telling the price.

Does this gun always go to SA mode after the first shot?
Yes, unless you engage the safety/decocker.
The trigger pull in SA is really nice. DA isn't bad but the way I see it, it's mostly there for carry. If you're trying to aim your shots, you will want to cock the hammer and fire in SA.
Any one know who makes a good iwb holster for this one?

@@damirjalali I know this is old, but the 92FS compact holster fits the 92X compact all the same, should be the same for the full size models, the 92fs holster will fit a 92x. I got a clinger hinge holster shaped for a 92fs compact and it fits my 92x compact perfectly

Why do I keep thinking there someone playing drums in my basement while watching this. Annoying.
I find the trigger guard too rounded which rubs against my supportive hand finger.

I felt it necessary to give this video a thumbs down because of those ridiculously irritating drumbeats!
I honestly don’t blame you. I had my whole setup going...then that neighbor started to drum for an hour. Rather than just take everything down I figured I’d go through with it anyway. At least people get a look at the gun firing. 🤷🏻♂️

You are jurking your trigger and you have way to much finger on your trigger. You should gi take some classes they will tighten you shots up. I recommend carry trainer courses

First of all. This video is demonstrating this model of a pistol. This isn't a video demonstrating shooting skills. Second he has 4 inch grouping and thats not too bad at all. Third... so if someone is a poor shot then your opinion is they shouldn't own a gun? Well how the hell does anyone become a good shot if that opinion made any sense. You have to be a bad shot before you can be a good one. Thats what people do when they buy a pistol.. practice at the range.. hes a pretty decent shot and I don't want to here crap about his form etc.
