    Still cheaper than an LTT cut and doesn't require a permanent modification to the slide that prevents one from going back to just iron sights.

    Just put my order in. 3x the price of the tanner system, but genuinely looks like the best option outside of sending it off to langdon. Thanks for showing all three options in your videos, helped me decide what to do with my 92xi

    I purchased and installed the Dlad plate on my Beretta. I installed a Trijicon RMR on the pistol. With the exception of some minor work needed on the plate, installation went well. I also installed the Langdon trigger in a bag. This morning I'm headed to the gun range to prove the installation out. I don't think there will be any issues. Thanks again for putting the word out on the Dlah plate.

    How did you know how to switch out the firing pin block and how difficult was it? Were there instruction and illustrations from Dlah? Did you find a video here on RUclips on how to do that?
    It makes me nervous just thinking about swapping that out!

      Yes, people shit on LTT for their price but you get plate, sights, recerakote, parts swap, there are no sights for this plating system that are factory manufactured.

    Nice video. I was wondering when you were going to get around to checking out his plate. I run one and I also run a LTT RDO slide. The LTT RDO plate is about 1.25mm lower than the d-lahhh plate. This plate puts the optic as low as you can go with just needing to modify FPB by shortening the height. Any lower, and you would need to make all the custom parts that LTT makes. One last thing, when taking your measurements you need to put the jaw of the caliper across both sides of the slide (at the bottom). This will keep it level and will stop the side to side rocking that keeps moving your measurements up and down. Otherwise, another great video. Thanks...

      The EPS does sit lower. You could co-witness it but you'd still need taller sights.

    I really don’t like how the sight looks like it’s just sitting on top of the slide. Let face it. The Beretta was not made for slides. Seems like Beretta got a case of the “me toos!” With respect to RDOs.

      Not a lot of difference with or without the optic. Actually, I think the Beretta has a nice and soft recoil impulse.

      You’re not getting that anyway on a Beretta unless you’re running suppressor height sights

      I would prefer to have co-witnessed irons, but I can deal without it. Eventually, I'll change the sights.

      D-lahhh recommended the M9-22 suppressor sights. They will give a good cowitness. From what I've researched .22lr sights on a 9mm will work out perfectly until you go beyond 40 yards. That will be perfectly fine for my needs.

    Can you put the holosun eps carry on it and show us how it's looks?

    • @marginallyinteresting
      @marginallyinteresting  9 месяцев назад

      I can't for two reasons: I don't have an EPS carry (but do have EPS) and the EPS line has a different footprint and so needs a different plate. Dlah does make EPS plates.

    This plate work with m9a4

  • @Rouser86
    @Rouser86 11 месяцев назад

    This won't work on all 92s. Obviously, you were mounting on a 92X red dot ready pistol that has factory features to attach this plate to. Other 92s will likely require a LOT of milling on the slide to make this plate work. Makes no difference because this is NOT the lowest priced quality mounting plate for the 92. I looked at all of these for my older 92F and decided on the Trijicon mounting plate because of the quality of the company and their plate but because it was the least invasive to the slide for mounting. All I needed to do was to drift out the factory rear site and install the new mounting plate. DONE!!! The surface of the plate is as low as can be possible. Oh, and it only cost $100 from Trijicon!!! I've been using it for almost a year and have had NO problems with it at all.

    • @marginallyinteresting
      @marginallyinteresting  11 месяцев назад +1

      The title of the video says "92X RDO," so yes, that's inferred. In no way is a dovetail mount comparable.

    • @edwardtorbert5133
      @edwardtorbert5133 11 месяцев назад

      @marginallyinteresting Duh! Yes. I saw that, and I recognized that for my following comment. Have you tried the Trijicon plate? If not, you should try it before you make comment. Mine is VERY stable and every bit as good for my competition purposes.

    • @marginallyinteresting
      @marginallyinteresting  11 месяцев назад

      I have not tried the Trijicon plate and will not as I only have this Beretta. I did watch a video on it since you mentioned it. It looks good for what it is, but like all dovetail mounts, it can't get the dot lower than a real optics ready slide and it also only attaches to the slide at the rear (the dovetail), which seems sub-optimal. But if it works, that's great. Thanks for the info.
