Honestly the difference is a lot less than I thought it would be. Seems like 1kw to 1.5kw is plenty for most people especially if you weigh less than 180 pounds.
Yeah tbr anything more than 2kw is just excessive. I have a 48v 2000w set up on 20in wheels that does 40 on flat ground easily and with a 35ah battery gives me plenty of range to get around town
I'm 175 and my 1000w hub ebike is more than enough power for me. Gets to 30mph easily and I haven't found any hills near me that it can't get up throttle only.
Its because of the battery output to controller. 3000w and 1000w motor will do the same power output if they both have a 48v battery and a 15ah controller
Where the power really matters is when you hit a hill. A 1000w bike will really bog down up a steep hill but 3kw will just keep going my 5600w scooter doesnt even notice them and gets up to 40 MPH. It’s basically a moped as it comes with a nice seat.
ok ummm which is which? you point at the same bike twice...just say the left and right no??? i still cant tell who won...bafang or the other guy!!! great video!! ffs

God's dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them.” God is there for you and he sent his one and only son to die on the cross for everyone. If you choose not to believe thats on you. I hope you soak this in. God bless.
@@Jytaaninot for drag racing its not. I guarantee I can smoke any middrive with a hub motor, since I can put essentially unlimited power through it. Try putting 40kw through a middrive and drive train parts will be going snap crackle pop the first time you hit the throttle. Middrives only really shine on an electric motorcycle, where you can build the drive train up to the level required by a high output motor. All I would have to do with a bicycle and hub motor would be to reinforce the dropouts so they don't twist right off the frame.
That’s determined by the battery but if they have the same battery then the cyc could drain it faster if it wanted too. Ebikes can change the watts/horsepower they use to change fuel economy
I don't think it works that way.... with 1000w and good battery arrangement you can easily get 88km top speed easily..... dont let the companies milk yall 😅... anything above 2000w to me is just noisy
Cyc is probably using soft start or something, having 3000W shoot into the groupset and freehub isn't the best idea, I have the same settings on my X1 pro gen 4, and can completely disable it (which would send me flying)
The BBSHD is like a Toyota. Reliable and gets the job done efficiently but kinda boring. The CYC is like a BMW. Looks great, good performance but not great reliability and you pay a premium for it.
Cyc gen 3 was not as quick as my bbshd BAC800 with the same battery. These tests need to be more scientific, same battery, same chainring size and two of the exact same bikes
PFFFT these guys just spend too much money on this stuff. I just strapped 4 electric leaf blowers to my bike and turned them all on to fly down the road.
Power of the CYC is nice, not sure if I could live with a kit that sounds like a dying brushed motor though

At some point I will just use my motorcycle instead.

15Ah is battery capacity. Controller can have 15A and its power.
I don’t believe controllers are rated in amp hours
WTH is a 15ah controller. Don’t give advice you clearly know nothing about. ah refers to battery capacity 😂
A 3x difference in power but yet such a small difference in performance? Just give me the 1000W one.
That gear whine sound is fire.
He’s rather point instead of calling out the colour with which motor lmao
Here's what a new chain looks like compared to a broken chain.
I fr just want a 80mph bicycle, I’m 120 pounds💀
😂😂😂😂
Buddy you’ll fly off like flat Stanley
how good and fun are e bikes !!! love it

I'd love to race the CYC with my 4500W BBSHD.
I'm looking for a powerful mid-drive for my fat bike. Any advice?

Has it got to be suspension bike with the bafang?
too bad you can hear the CYC from a block away
What's the price difference between the two?
What gear ratios are they using? Looks like the bbshd toped out way too soon
Any advice on a full kit . I need to get the most mileage out of a new kit . Thanks
For max mileage, get the maximum amp hours on the battery
If you're 150lbs & under get a 750w 48v mid drive bafang kit & a 20AH panasonic 40A BMS battery. 30 mile range no pedal. 750w = 1hp
if that's on the BAC855 it has similar torque to the Bafang so ye, the BAC2000 would make a huge acceleration difference
That’s why I was thinking not as impressive for the 3000w cyc motor
Will a 3000w with a 48v battery still go 50?
What batteries are in these bikes?
just confused wich one is 3000w of power
ok ummm which is which? you point at the same bike twice...just say the left and right no??? i still cant tell who won...bafang or the other guy!!! great video!! ffs
A 3kW e-bike is a motorcycle. They’re much faster than 1Kw. This must be a battery controller issue
Probably a 40 amp BMS in a 20AH battery So its only delivering 2kw max. Should get a 100 amp BMS battery.
3 kilowatts is considered a moped in the United states.
Yeah that's not so bad I think a thousand watts is very nice and less topping is drastically different.
Now do the 5000w gen 4 👌
Is a 48v lithium battery good to use on an e bike
And you all are staying legal by only going 40 km/h MAX right???
What size battery they both using
Put A85572 Volt motorcycle battery on that BBSHD and tried again but he run it to 80 amps
My scooty is laughing at corner 😂

Who has such ?😢
Tbf the 1kw bike is probably the better deal outta the both
Honestly, that's not nearly as much of a difference as one might think.
If you had 2x motors on both wheels for 1500w each it would smoke the 3000w bike
nah, mid drive is superior

You have a labeled 3000 on the left lane and 1000 on the right lane .

fit a bigger battery. even the biggest ebike battery is still a very trivially small size compared to even the smallest ecar battery
