Bashing Metcalf kits, is a great way of making something individual and something you can be proud off. Grain of wheat bulbs get very hot, so watch your buildings for scorch marks, a few years ago given we were given a layout where it looked as if it was due to be the next scene for London's Burning!! they were removed for safer LEDs
I must have had a senior moment somewhere along the way...Twice you talked about "scanning and flipping on the computer". Why did you consider this as Metcalfe kits usually supply all necessary parts?
I think you have made a pritty decent fist of your first custome build. My first attempt...... well, lets just say, it got recycled! Just a thought on 'Grain of wheet' bulbs. They are not verry long lived and they do get rather hotter than cardboard is comfatble with. From a 61 years young bloke on a verry simalar N scale journey🙂
Hi Paul and thank you for your comment and welcome to my channel You may be right about the bulbs, but it’s not my intention to leave them on for hours on end so hopefully they will last and not get to hot although l will keep it mind and keep an eye on them Thank you for letting me know
I think you've made a great job of these, well done! 🙂👍

Hmmm... To make a fist means to make a mess of something - I somehow don't think you meant to say that!
