Once again, Tim, you’re knocking out of the park thank you for your encouragement and your lesson in scenery have a blessed day🚂🚂
Thank you for the kind words. Hope you have a blessed week as well.
Hi Tim,
Your videos always give me inspiration and something to think about for my own layout. I need to have an aggressive list of things to do and more importantly things to complete to try to keep up with you!
Have a good week.
Scott
Thanks Scott. I find it is really good to have a plan or a list. A lot of what we do needs to be done in steps. For me, when I write the steps down in a list of things to do by importance it helps keep me going. It is also fun to look back and be able to check things off the list.
Thanks again! Have a great week!
Great 👍 tutorial very informative 👏 again Great 👍 layout 👍
Thanks!
The eye dropper and scenic glue from your local hobbytown probably cost more than everything else combined! Great video Tim. Layout is looking great!
Thanks! I’ve tried a lot of different things but have had best results with the scenic cement. Reminds me that I’ll need to drop by HobbyTown soon to get some more. :)
AWESOME VIDEO !!! I'll be watching faithfully sir! - Gary
Thanks Gary!
Great video of a great looking layout!
Thanks! I appreciate it
Very nice video, really enjoyed it. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Looking good.
Thanks!
Hey Tim; I like the new area of the layout that you did and some of the tips you gave on modeling less used track - that'll come in handy on my layout somewhere. And I think the weekly videos is a great idea - it always helps to have a bit of pressure from people to help get stuff done. Looking forward to seeing the sections start to come together! - Trev
Thanks Trev!
@@SeaboardCentral Yeah, no problem!
Looking good, Tim! I have boxes of old scenery and buildings and stuff from old layouts, and sometimes they get used!
Thanks! They can work with a little sprucing up.
@@SeaboardCentral Hair spray and super leaf material has worked awesome.
Take a medium size soda bottle drill a hole slightly smaller then a pipette ( plastic paint ones) cut the bulb off and push it thur the hole it makes a very controlled way to apply scenic cement down also use mod podge matte tosave a few bucks I buy the 16 Oz. Bottles and delute it in 1 gallon of water with dish soup it goes a long way
Great advice! Thanks for sharing.
Now I know how to make Kudzu 👍🏽…very nice sceniced area.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks!
Great tutorial Tim, thanks Peter from downunder 😊.
Thanks Peter from down under! I appreciate it!
Hi Tim, thanks for the October 24 update. I wondered if in the future, you could spend a few mins. describing the Fuel Pad - how Traction Sand is delivered from the Hoppers into the Silo, then into the Sand Towers, Diesel Fuel from Tank Cars into the Storage Tanks, Waste Oil & Water from Locos into the horizontal Tanks, into road Tankers (I presume)
There must be Pumps & Compressors at these places. I have tried to research online - but not much luck. A quick single-line Sketch would be just right, thankyou.
Absolutely! And thanks for the donation! I have plans to add more hoses and details to the fuel pad. That would make a good subject for a new video.
Great video
Thank you!
Don't hear anything on the news about damage to the railroads after Helene. Lots of damage all over the area. People and the cities and towns need what they can get.
They got hit hard in TN and NC. A lot of damage especially on CSX.
What's the NS word on service/track damage in NC and TN? Rail would seem a good means of moving large quantities of supplies near or to disaster areas.
A lot of damage up there. I haven’t heard the latest
Nice cleaning box car, who is the manufacturer?
It is an Atlas boxcar with Woodland Scenics track dusters installed.
Fantastic tutorial, and I hate kudzu, but you've modeled it well for your region.
Thanks!
