Just purchased a "castmaster cm08" 8kw. Sub £500 absolutely huge 490 x 535 x 360mm. Looks like a mazona, probably common body with different controls and door. Literally just got it going tonight, I'm impressed so far. Only took an hour or so to swap my old 4kw.
Thanks for the information it’s been very useful. Can you advise if I can mount my tv over my log burner? I’m moving into a house with log burner and ideally I’d prefer the tv mounted above fire due to space. What’s your thoughts on this ? Thank you
There are certain distance rules and it’s a good idea to have an oak beam or something below the tv to push the heat away from the tv. Strangely I’ve never heard of it going wrong, because I would assume the heat would wear things quicker, but so far I’ve never heard of an issue.
Would it be possible to have some tips/ instructions on how to run a woodburner over night please? - this winter will be my first using a woodburner (ambition 5).
This is probably a helpful start. I will go over this in a more detailed full video, but for now this method is very clean and effective: ruclips.net/user/shortsrTFB_plYBsc?si=PSs5VgI_hdnfYkqr

I clicked hoping the Ambition 5 made it in, good news! Just lit mines for the first time last weekend and it’s on again for the weekend!
I find myself burning right through summer 😆. Including overnight tests, but I’m glad that season is on its way again!
I do stil love the Heta 900 😉. Especially when i see other's smoky glass! 😂
I loved that stove too. Fantastic bit of kit!
