once in a while someone gets something almost perfect and thats true here. the song and the voice and the time ,dear god or whatever i love this song to the dna thank you scott. sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
thanks dad, for showing these musics to your daughter since she was less than four years old and now is sixteen being so grateful for having you as a dad
the 60's was the golden age of the past.... inventions of groundbreaking technologies, the hippies, the yippies,LSD,zen and the insecurity of total destruction by global war...........these all inspired people to live life as fun
I moved to SF from the so-called Heartland almost three years ago. It's expensive here but I love it just the same. There are some gentle (not to mention intelligent) people here. Not to mention a rather stellar baseball and football team.
This brings some groovy memories back . lol. Really it does and I spoke like that....Groovy, man , crazy trip, Lets bug out man and what a drag man. My parents hated it. And to top it all, a group of friends and I hitch hiked from Texas to San Francisco. Yea we thought we were flower children. One of the best times.
Ome McGuire I'm learning about the counterculture of the 60s ( and so on) and it's very interesting to learn about the different stuff people would do back then.
@TheZdravei One thing I envy about San Francisco is their street cars they STILL use. Why did we have to abandoned them around the globe? Bring them back.
@pathfinder079 I was born in 1981, so I grew up in the second half of the 80 and the first half of the 90s. I can not tell you how much I wish I was born at least ten to fifteen years earlier.
@MrStrman yeah man i agree completely. i am in highschool and i hate it. the people dont do anything about any issues except complain! i have a few friends who actualy share my views against war for peace and we have actualy tried to get protests started for issues but the youth just doesnt care anymore.
@pathfinder079 Don't forget, the hippy fest in New York called Woodstock! I had just returned from the Nam, it did not mean I agreed, but I did not deserve to be spat on!!!
@koopa3211 Try these drunk: Silly Sally sits and shells her peas. All day long she sits and shells and shells and sits and sits and shells and shells and sits. A tutor who tooted the flute tried to tutor two tutors to toot. Said the two to the tutor, "Is it harder to toot. Or to tutor two tutors to toot?"
@LordNeo2k Der beste song aller zeiten leider hat er nix gebracht, irgendwas hat die revolution damals gestoppt wir koennten viel weiter sein als menschen
@cezaroza I with you on this one. Microwave this, microwave that. What the hell is wrong with making it on the stove or in the oven with real food by real people? Instant this, instant that. I stopped buying instant oatmeal. I stopped buying instant pancake mix. Home made pancakes are much better. People today are getting lazy.
@koopa3211 Try these drunk: A cup of proper coffee in a copper coffee cup. Eat fresh fried fish free at the fish fry. The bootblack bought the black boot back. Peter Prangle, the prickly prangly pear picker, picked three pecks of prickly prangle pears. Buy a black backed bath brush. The big baby buggy with the red rubber buggy bumpers. A skunk sat on a stump, the stump thunk the skunk stunk. The skunk thunk the stump stunk.
@Zaibach333 Yeah it would be sooo different from living in a country up to it's neck in turmoil from another civil rights movement and Iraq and the Afghanistan war and terrorism and and and....
@spyguy1968 Absolutely you did not! You were called, you went, and you risked your life in the process. Anyone who put you down for that deserves to be bitch-slapped.

I was from the class of 1968 (high school) and I was very fortunate to take the musical ride of that era! Very fortunate, indeed!
A song that everyone should hear at summer.
Although I wasn't alive in 1967, I'm from San Francisco. You can still feel the vibe around Haigh Ashbury
thanks dad, for showing these musics to your daughter since she was less than four years old and now is sixteen being so grateful for having you as a dad
