One of those bands that seem to be able to write endless great songs. Highly under-rated. 4 songwriters in one band -- a very wise strategy that has proven to be prolific, yet largely unknown in proportion to their talent.
I was at this show, the indifference of the crowd that was waiting for a teeny bopper band, pissed me off. I wish Sloan would return to Milwaukee and play a proper club. Plenty fans here
Best version of 'the other man' ever!!🍁
Under-rated drummer!
the vocal trade offs in i hate my generation are perfect
🍁Tighter than a beaver's arse under water🍁
Sloan rock😎
murph's hair 😍😍
Never seen Chris with that much hair!!! crazy!
So sweet!
I love it!

I'm still listening! Love these guys
Nice to find great Sloan footage like this! Thanks for posting!
ruclips.net/video/jzEHp5vsk18/видео.html I love that Chris puts his glasses away so he can headbang!
a true rock band opening for what I would call Emo (Bastille sounds like men covering Enya songs to me)??? strange setup.. Sloan focking rox!!
Bastille are one of the worst British bands EVER and as a British citizen, I can only apologise.
What was this filmed on? It looks like it was filmed in the early 90s, fucking rad!
Is this the most lethargic crowd they have ever played to? Sheesh.
I doubt anyone knows them in Milwaukee.
I was at this show. A majority of the crowd up front were holding seats and waiting for the band that played after them that night, Bastille. The fans weren't rude (and I did overhear a few people voice their general approval i.e. "these guys are alright!") but yeah, they were for all intents and purposes Bastille's openers. Oh, well, still a great show with some great performances.
That is good to hear. It cracks me up though cause Sloan is a million times better than Bastille.
if your looking for something worse they played in British Columbia on Canada day and the was horrible. there's a video on here somewheres
I caught part of Bastille's set afterward, and I myself found it samey and lacking. Obv I'm biased cuz I was there for Sloan but I think Chris, Jay, Patrick and Andrew (and Gregory!) brought more to the table, musically. I guess if/when Bastille get to album 12 we'll see how they compare, lol.
Good band. Look at that ridiculous beer billboard though ... we all gotta eat, right?
Funny when they play the USA they don't have to play their hits
That would normally be the case because there are more superfans at American concerts. However, this is a festival show with most of the crowd waiting for the next band, so I'd think they'd play more "hits"...similar to a Canadian concert where there are more casual fans in attendance.
We like "People Of The Sky" in Detroit. Sounds like us. Sucks they didn't play it
