    I have 4 of your courses so far . I watch them frequently . These training videos have helped me transition from my fostex and my Tascam tape machines to A great DAW. by the way , this transition took place just last year . Keep up the great work .

    Each of my SO templates has my AD Drums 2 as track 1 with a 4/4 standard rock beat at 120bpm for about 90 bars. Track 2 is a Bass, Track 3 & 4 are Guitars, then 3 synths / keyboards then 2 vocals tracks. Each channel has a console plugin such as an SSL, Neve, Api, etc depending on the template name. This is an easy way for me to pick a console, grab the guitar and put the idea down and start building. Replacing the drum beats with fills etc is the last step in the process for me. Great video!

    David, Really enjoying this series. It hits on several levels. Not only explaining your process but fills in as a tutorial on utilizing the production tools.

    Yes, definitely more like this please! I’d really like to see how you incorporate the Bandmate function into your workflow. I’d also like to see a lesson on how to get EZ Drummer 3 working in non-standard time signatures like 3/8 or 5/4.

    Thanks for the video, please continue with this, I don't have studio one, but I'm still following along. I like the idea of adding the VST instruments because that is all I have. Once again good work!

    Total amateur here making music (covers and originals) for fun. Primarily an intermediate guitar player and occasional bass player (follow the chords). I have EZ Drummer 3 and love the Bandmate function. I have EZ Keys too. My interest is very beginning arrangement. How to start making a basic two/three guitars (acoustic and electric), bass, and drums song/arrangement more interesting and impactful by starting to incorporate EZ Keys (piano) and other instruments (brass? strings? synth). But little bites that make a difference.

    Good stuff! I'll watch pretty much any reasonable-length video you make about EZD3. I still tend to drag and drop into the DAW (editing there) instead of editing within EZD3, and I'm starting to feel I could work much more efficiently within EZD.

      Yes, try working inside EZ drummer 3. I think you'll find it a bit easier.

    Will you continue this series of 'song arrangement'? Im kinda looking forward to see how this simple 4 chord song will keep evolving and getting tweaked to completion. Will you Dave? Please??

  • @andrewlbsmith
    @andrewlbsmith Год назад

    Great stuff however after completing the arrangement you can auto add markers to replicate the arrangement sections , so no need to add them manually all by hand

      Yes, I know that. I am trying to show my more "beginner" students the process a little slower so there may be times where eI do things the "long" way around at first. Thanks for the feedback

    I see that Studio One is very close to the Cubase 12 pro. Are those short cuts mostly the same in these 2 DAW's?

    • @HomeRecordingMadeEasy
      @HomeRecordingMadeEasy  Год назад

      I think they are pretty similar. I may also do a song-writing series with both Luna & Cubase at one point as well.
