Yeah, it had been a while since I played it and forgot to mention the tank portions during the discussion, I have finished it and we included some of the tank segments in the gameplay footage.
I love watching people discover D3 Publisher's Simple series. Back when I found it, I was in senior year high school, and a friend online had taught me how to get my PS2 an HDD and OPL. I scoured the internet for games to stuff the HDD with, and this collection came up. I was surprised that the list of games were large but the entire collection didn't take up a lot of space since the majority of these games were released on CDs instead of DVD.
i am really enjoying your videos! very to the point but still engaging, enough editing to make it interesting but not a visual and auditory onslaught. subscribed :D
These are a series of games I have been wanting to check out for a while now! I did manage to play and beat a few like Project Minerva and Dynamite Deka, each fun to play, and do have more planned for my random game picker. Thanks for the video!
@@jankedjesus oh ya I just looked it up and they also did the "put price of game in the game name" thing and god them confused, whoops x.x Would be an interesting video too. I'd love to try the simple games like one after another one day lol
I've got a few of these but had no idea there were so many on the PS2! They all look fun, honestly. I'd play any of them. Especially for the price, they are damn cheap.
I think it's interesting that the zombie vs the ambulance has similar vehicle controls it seems to modern EDF games. Also how to d3 get bubble bobble I'll have to check that compilation out!
Alot of these games for European version are some of most Expensive PS2 games these days other are exact oppsite. The US did get Adventures of Darwin/Darwin a Caveman pikmin clone but that was about it. It a shame D3 these days no longer make alot of games like this yet their games sttill feel the same but cost way to much and never drop prices.
Yakuza fury is a the simple series game??? I always thought it was a weird knock off yakuza 1 game but the release date never made sense to me because it was released before yakuza lol now that makes a LOT more sense, specially on the not so polished side of that game
I bought a lot of the series that came out in the UK a while ago. I played waaaay too much of Zombie Vs. Ambulance for what it is, but there's some really, really terrible games in the series. The fighting game with the mascot girl (from Demolition Girl) is pretty good, it has an EDF fighter in it too. I had some fun with Special Forces and the photography game, even though they're definitely bad.
Demolition Girl is not only an helicopter game, it has also tanks. You can drop candies and treats to the giant girl. Love this game a lot

For whatever reason, the opening cutscene from the European version was replaced by a slideshow with text.
The Japanese original was a FMV.

@@ArthurKannibal yeah, that's something I didn't really touch on in the video, lots of these are blue back CDs
I wasn’t aware of these games existing. Cool piece of history.
Thanks for watching!
The Edit Racing seems like it'd be up my alley. Had seen you play a handful of these on stream but it was cool seeing a whole video on them!
Thanks Leeman! Edit Racing is a really cool one, I think you'd enjoy it.
Amazing video, great job Kyle!
Thank you Toaster!

Dynamite Deka is actually part of the SEGA Ages series, which is a pretty cool line in and of itself, one I'd like to also cover at some point.

I have The Pro Wrestling 1&2 for PS1 from the series.
Haven't tried those ones yet, may need to go on my list, haha

Yeah it's well over a hundred games for the full set, lots of cheap titles to discover in the series.
As soon as you showed the bushido my first thought was way of the samurai
@@binkbonkbones3402 WOTS is such a great little game

I never thought about the EDF connection with the controls, good catch. Also can definitely recommend the Bubble Bobble release! Thanks for watching
I'm a simple man, I hear waifu, I rewind 20 seconds.
