But how much towing is he doing with his towing. Ho many are long trips . We need more info on his towing. A little extra time one or twice a month . And being in Texas can be Get Tesla 30 a month unlimited nite time charging. Where diesel would cost from 90 to gas for diesel 104 for a fill at Texas fuel cost. A few extra minutes in a trip is not not bad. So filling up once a week is 400 a month vs 30 and a little more for long trips when super charging may still be less than one fuel fill up. It could be a 300 dollar plus a month savings and we have added up maintenance cost savings. I haven't even thought about the total cost of ownership. And with the extended battery it may be closer to range he wants.

Hey Farzad. I enjoy your channel. Thanks for what you do, Calvin.
Speaking as an environmental scientist, you might also want to mention the state of the planet when talking with people who still use and promote gasoline burning vehicles. The instant that your friend turns on his gasoline burning truck he is generating CO2 and approximately 20 other green house gases (that are also poisonous to our health). The CO2 he is actively generating will last not for hours, not for days, not for weeks, not for months, and not just for years. The CO2 he generates will last for decades into the next century, continually pushing heat (infrared radiation) back down to the planet's surface, 24 hours a day.
NOTE: I started eliminating my green house gas emissions a decade ago when I learned of the climate catastrophe. I switched to electric transportation and switched to electric yard equipment. I first had an electric motorcycle for two years, then I had a Chevy Volt for three years, then a Chevy Bolt for three years, then a Tesla Model Y for the last two years. I will be switching to a Cybertruck within the next 6 months to a year. I will be adding a Cyberlandr to the Cybertruck which will become my new tiny house on wheels. I plan on moving off grid and living near the north shores of Lake Superior.
NOTE2: Seven years ago I installed a metal roof with two solar panel arrays onto the roof of my house. Since then I have generated and fed 44 million watt hours of clean renewable electricity into my province's electric grid. I have reduced my carbon foot print 250% and I am no longer harming you or your family.
NOTE3: Over the last two years, climate scientists have become even more alarmed as the increase in global temperatures and the collapse of a survivable environment is accelerating and is now seemingly spiralling out of control. This has led to farm land being destroyed and disappearing way faster than expected.
    Thanks for listening, Calvin.
