thank you for this vlog.. it reminds me of my happy childhood days... im now 60 yo but still love to watch cartoons and movies of the 60s ..70s.. thanks you tube.
A shame he cannot get Chuck and Nancy home, as they need to find the ring's rightful owner, and sadly, to this day, they are still stuck in the era of the Arabian Nights to this very day.
Fun fact: Hanna-Barbera outsourced the animation for Shazzan to Toei Animation, the same studio that does the animation for Dragon Ball and One Piece, and also makes the Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series (Super Sentai is imported to the United States as Power Rangers).
Saturday morning cartoons, was the best thing growing up in the 60s & 70s..... Wow we had the best Music and cartoons, I did not know we had it So good until I got grown.😎👍
This really takes me back!! There used to be another cartoon in the 80s about a girl in the jungle. Jungle Girl? I just wish I can remember the name of it.
These cartoons were amazing because they were able to cram an entire story in just 15 minutes and have an entire plot and conclusion. Now the cartoons of today can't even do that in like six or seven 30 minute episodes
Another great cartoon that ended before it's time! Chuck, and Nancy should've been able to return the ring to it's rightful owner before the ring was returned
Yes I agree this was 1 of My favorite Cartoon series when I was a Child but the 60s as well as the 70s had the best Cartoons besides Bugs Bunny Fat Albert & the Jackson 5 were My favorites even Elder Muhammad Ali had a Cartoon Himself but didn't last long that made Me mad compare to today We don't see any Cartoons unless We have Cable or Direct TV or Streaming TVS!
Well both of them are based on certain cultural stereotypes. And by the way I'm not saying that as some Progressive twat it's just that the dress and that hairstyle and the accoutrements and that beard are very typical for that time. And pointy ears are a sign of mythical beings
This morning, I saw one of the episodes on DVD, "Raschid, the Apprentice Sorcerer", where Kabala, an evil wizard with a grudge on Shazzan, sends his somewhat inept apprentice sorcerer, Raschid, to get Chuck and Nancy to summon the giant genie! " Ring time!" "Ho-ho-ho-ho!"
@green You could start yet another 'victim' group for 'survivors' of the Shazzan cartoons #Me2-dimensional. There's probably a 90-year-old voice-over artist out there somewhere whose career and reputation you could trash.
I used to watch this show when I was about five years old. I always thought that the name of the show was "Shazam". It wasn't until I saw this clip on RUclips, today, that I realized that the show's name is actually "Shazzan." When I was in kindergarten, my brother and I would would act out scenes from this show in our backyard. Although I'm female, I would always play Chuck, and I'd make my brother play Nancy.
It is funny to think now a days shows like this and the Arabian knights shorts from The banana splits would be thought of as politically incorrect or racist at best but back when these shows ran not many folks thought that way until 9/11
Would this show be racist though? Doesn't seem like they are making fun of Middle Eastern people. Even the white kids Chuck and Nancy are helpless without their genie and magic trinkets. But the comments making terrorist jokes on this video, that would be racist.

Shazzan... Just been transported back to my childhood and all at one volume. Thank you so much.
Mandela effect right here. Both my bf and i swear it was SHAZAM . We are both floored at Shazzan
Got me too I thought the comic book and movie was named after Shazam 🤯😇😎😆
Shazam was a different series on tv
Ugh
People over estimate the reliability of their minds.
@@bleirdo_dude the older I get, the more I realise that is true 🥺😬😁
Such a dynamic and mythology filled series of unforgettable adventures. Stay safe everyone!
One of my very personal favorite old school cartoons of all time

Film sazzan ini aku masih usia 11thn masih tv hitam putih sangat senang klw sdh acara Film ini.. Good.. 👍👍
How great to be reminded of great childhood memories in Australia 🇦🇺
Shazzan could whip that Disney big Blue Genie without breaking a sweat.
A shame he cannot get Chuck and Nancy home, as they need to find the ring's rightful owner, and sadly, to this day, they are still stuck in the era of the Arabian Nights to this very day.
@@jeremyriley1238I'd be open to seeing them keep trying some more ..

And dragon ball z referenced this show outright several times in the buu saga. That's my reason for being here
I remember Shazzan reruns in the early 70's on a UHF Channel. It was on weekdays after school. I was in Kindergarten.
Saturday morning cartoons, was the best thing growing up in the 60s & 70s..... Wow we had the best Music and cartoons, I did not know we had it So good until I got grown.😎👍
Yeah, demonic genies!
Straight up...this was the era of the greatest cartoons ever!!!
@@charlesb2376 and 80s and 90s
YES INDEED
So the greatest cartoons were the ones from your childhoods? Wow, not biased at all...
I used to watch Shazzan in late 70's here in Italy. I did love this cartoon, one of my fave! 😎

I just love Shazzan! What a wonderful childhood I had!!!
This was one of the coolest cartoons during this era
I well remember watching this series in England in the late 1960s. Most enjoyable.
The mind boggles to know that this presentation and production is from 1960s... Wondering if creativity is nose diving 50 years later today
middle to late 60's I remember this from Saturday cartoons when I was kid
We got these i the 90s. Much better then the show these kids get
Saturday Night Live did a parody of this cartoon.
This really takes me back!! There used to be another cartoon in the 80s about a girl in the jungle. Jungle Girl? I just wish I can remember the name of it.

The year on the copyright is 1967. Sounds about right.
"Ha ha, this will clean up your act!" (shoves a stick into the vizier and uses him to mop up the floor) "Shazzang, he's already dead!"
memory unlocked!! I used to love this cartoon and I forgot all about it! Gotta love the magic of RUclips!😅
A favorite among many growing up in the '60s. When Saturday mornings were great.
"Shazzan!"
"No, no, Billy, it's SHAZAM. We don't talk about the other guy."
Strange. I thought the other guy we're not supposed to talk about was that poser genie called Kazaam.
Some years back i found all complete series on DVD Shazzan speed buggy the Impossible and Frankenstein junior Really nice!
these childhood memories movies an old cartoons were great back in the days
U AINT NEVER LIED, THE BEST!

I used to LOVE this. You could tell that they put work into this, unlike Samson and Goliath.
This series turns 50 on September 9, 2017!
1967??
Serie fantastica 🤩 te best👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻💪🏻
Shazzan may be red but he has a heart of gold and will always be a hero to us all!
0:12 yes never mind the gold coins - go for the broken ring
Funny
Hey, a priceless artifact maybe worth more than all the gold in the box.

I loved this cartoon when I was a young teen. :)
Thanks for the post!!!

My favorite of all the Saturday morning adventure cartoons. I hope Shazzan is going to appear in DC Comics' Future Quest.
Remember Aladin, well this is how all started.
🤔 Interesting. I thought I read a reference to it somewhere in that series... 😏
Blimey. I forgot this. Brilliant colors too
This looks like a great show
Sensacional ❤❤❤ eu assisto até hoje
I remember watching Shazzan as a little kid in the 70s.
Hello friend Very good
"A flying camel! What a prize for my master!" Says a bloke flying on a carpet 😂
1967 classic year for all the Hanna Barbera action cartoons.
Fantastic the best serie bellissima 🙏😢
I remember this cartoon from Saturday mornings in the 60s.
The scene ends just before the enraged crowd beat Chuck to death and drag Nancy off to the harem. Different times.
My favorite cartoon when I was a kid... I love Sazzan .. he is very powerful and kind ❤
What's sad about this is that Chuck and Nancy never even found this "wizard behind the beyond".
I love these old school cartoon
Tarrence Martin
ok thanksfor theone
Does anyone else think that the Genie from the Disney's live version of Aladdin looked a lot like Shazzan does?
Well both of them are based on certain cultural stereotypes. And by the way I'm not saying that as some Progressive twat it's just that the dress and that hairstyle and the accoutrements and that beard are very typical for that time. And pointy ears are a sign of mythical beings
Been looking for this cartoon for a long time
My 1960's toddlerhood memories to bad these cartoons will never be seen again.
THIS , BIRDMAN, SPACE GHOST, GALAXY TRIO, MIGHTOR, ...MAN I MISS MY CHILDHOOD IN THE 80'S
You should have seen it *when it 'debuted', in 1967!*
Two more, The Herculoids & H-B s The Fantastic Four. 1967-1970 the best Hanna-Barbera action-adventure cartoons.
Perfect gênio !!
Rj Brasil..
I Always Wanted That Ring!
This takes me back....
"SHAZZAM !!"
It's funny how Chuck and Nancy weren't scared too death by being zapped into ancient Arabia with a 1000 ft genie standing over them
Nancy was down for anything that's why Chuck brought her along
Hmm Kazam is a Genie played by Shaq, And Chuck is the name of a character played once by Zach Levi also known as Captain Marvel aka SHAZAM!!!!!
Este é ShaZZan...com dois ZZ.
I wish I had a genie friend like this so I can wish for good things.
the genie is inside yourself
Also my friend please follow me on RUclips at #DisneyDiva and thank you and be safe and sound.

Shazzan and caboobi I used to love this almost as as much as the “Wonder twins”
This must be the 1960s, when you spoke with the same accent whether you were Chinese or Arabian.

Por que os episódios Shazzan deste canal não podem ser traduzidos para o idioma portugues?
I was wondering tell me do you think shazzan can handle characters like yen sid and pre retcon beyonder etc... it looks like a stalemate.

I remember shazzan
The look of the genie is obviously from the classic film the thief of Baghdad 1940.
The best cartoon.
So the twins grew old and died. Their bones lie somewhere under the shifting sands.
Either that, or they never aged due to Shazzan's magic and are still on their quest, which has since become legend.
Can't he use his magic powers to just teleport the kids to the ring's rightful owner?
He was able to send Space Ghost back into space, but that's another story.
It was the plot of the show. It would have ended the show
he was lonely ; he liked having those kids around .
a youtuber brought me here along with watching dino boy and caveman i loved old stuff
It is funny to think now a days shows like this and the Arabian knights shorts from The banana splits would be thought of as politically incorrect or racist at best but back when these shows ran not many folks thought that way until 9/11
