You will be happy with this watch I have a lot of watches this watch I just can't quit looking at it l recommend buying its better in person I feel like buying one more never had watch that keeps this good of time have not set it 4 months it's amazing watch
Reccomended by me 😳?? Never knew I would be featured in a video!! I'm flattered that you made my suggestion into a video! Glad you enjoyed your time with the timepiece, such a classic in a modern jacket! A homerun for Hamilton and classic reissues in general. Nice to see you including the history of Hamilton taking over Buren, and that the Intramatic line starts from there. Never heard that anywhere else. Nice little touch of detail. One note about your criticism, I partly agree with the 'automatic' thing. The font should be more classical (just like the 'Hamilton' name on the dial) but there has to be something there, otherwise the dial will look unbalanced. I tried removing the 'automatic' tag with photoshop but it looks really wierd and empty like something is off. There needs to be presence there. Either with writing or with another sub register. Thank you for the video, this really helps with deciding. I think this will be it, unless Hamilton makes a slimmer version but as you said the watch is slim with 2mm coming from that glass. It has everything a daily driver needs, style and substance for a banger of a price! I just can't miss that water resistance, as I WILL wear it during the weekend. Another recommendation of some sort: you have this funny 'c0ck or cool' rating, I think it would be fun to highlight a watch that is in your opinnion 'c0ck'! It reminds me of the 'cool' wall from topgear, those were the days... Enough rambling, another top notch video with good editing and B roll and excellent lighting, unbelievable you only have 2k subs. And no, this isn't because I'm featured😁 Professional from the start. keep it up, looking forward to the next video! Greetings from the Netherlands!!
Hahaha well, I'm happy to have served you well! I think it's a real interesting choice, that made the review a lot of fun to do. Agreed on the 'automatic' tag btw, something definitely has to be there indeed. I think we had a full 'c0ck' once, but its quite hard because I don't like real cocky watches and I only aim to review watches I'd actually want to own haha. This Blancpain came close, with eventually a real c0ck entering the screen haha: ruclips.net/video/TMhxjfKmYpM/видео.html
Well it's only more genuine to review watches you like, makes the review better! Maybe some day a watch will come around that is a 'dirty pleasure' and it will have best of both worlds!
Awesome review Gandor! I really love this watch and was actually very pleased to follow an interview with Hamilton’s CEO talking about it. Such a nice, humble guy, really passionate about the watches they are producing! I don’t know if one could ask for more at this price point, but I’d love to see a better finishing on the case, perhaps a higher mix between polished and brushed surfaces making it look a bit more refined. But honestly, this is truly a gorgeous piece, outstanding value for money!! 🎸🚀👌🏻
Agreed! A bit more contrast on the surfaces would do the case some good. I think at this price, that should be possible... anyhow, very interested to see where Hamilton is going. Got a good feeling with them, solid and indeed as you said, with their watch heart in the right place
I have the limited edition intramatic 68 auto chrono. I'm 6'8 and the 42mm fits perfect on my wrist. Put a custom Swiss ammo pouch stap on it (dating 1945). I have the watch almost 5 years and still love it
I have the white dial I bought 3 months ago from Hamilton directly it keeps perfect time it has not gained or lost time it's hard to believe it keeps perfect time glad I bought it
Now these are the classic proportions and ratios, with elegant crown and pushers (with a remarkable 100m WR for a simple chrono, albeit not the Tudor's 200m) that made me find the BB Chrono so objectionable. I would be very interested to hear how you feel after a side by side. Pity that the Tuxedo Chronos have such busy dials... Thanks for a great look at a worthy watch, and as always for a great video. Edited to correct to "busy" dials, not "bust" dials.
Thanks! Yeah, would be nice to compare a couple of these chronos, more of that will come in the near future! First I'll have to build up a library of b-roll and materials before I can star working on those kind of videos. But they'll definitely come!
@@WatchTheFreshFaces Keep up your informed, tasteful expertise and entertaining style and I am sure your success will grow quickly and brands will be supplying you all the examples you could ever hope for!
Sadly the Frederique Constant Monolithic isn't released yet, otherwise this would be a watch I would love to see reviewed by you. P. S. I really like your style of reviewing a watch, it helped my decision-making and in conclusion buying the FC Higlife Automatic COSC. Keep up the incredible work.
That's a seriously good idea! I'd actually been thinking about it but I'll see what I can do while in Geneva next month 👍💡 Ps thanks very much for your kind words, much more to come! 😁 Pps Congrats on the great buy, definitely a great watch, the Highlife Cosc!
Frederique Constant is making great watches! Their split second chrono is a thing of beauty too. The name and look of the watches sound way more expensive than they are, and they got quality and inovation to boot!
By the way, I prefer my classic chronographs to be haand-wound, There is something about it that just feels right. I was lucky enough to pick up an Universal Genève 284.495 Bi Compax (three sub-dials) in beautiful sunburst Salmon with black etched concentric sub-dials for $800 only two years ago!!! 36mm is perfect and only 12.5mm thick, wears so elegant and timeless. What a stupid modern market. The only better-wearing modern Chrono is the sadly discontinued and not quite too thick given it's fuctionality, Longines Heritage Diver '67. Gorgeous Bordeaux bezel. Big-Eye with obscured small seconds to keep the original feel, 300m WR, countdown bezel, 24 hour time zone bezel, vertical clutch, same power reserve and anti-magnetism as the Hamilton, I believe if not movement. Absolutely fabulous and distinctive bracelet. Regrettable date though. As an ex-soldier I would love to see the Valjoux 7754 come back, GMT and all, but this is as close as it gets, and in a beautiful, functional package.

Very nice! Love to see the interaction like this! Keep it up
Thanks ever so much! 😄

Think I prefer the white dial too, looks great with the mesh!

@@WatchTheFreshFaces that would be great if you could get hands on with the watch. Hopefully they'll release it in autumn as mentioned by FC.

Oh wow that Universal, that's so so so nice! Fully agree on the size, I there should be much more 38 or 36mm watches. And more hand-wound as well too!
