Kindly spare a thought for those in the community who are unable to play their game after spending thousands of dollars on it - because EA sells broken packs and has failed to fix fundamental bugs in the game. They do have a right to complain and criticise a greedy corporation who doesn’t care about product quality or player experience. There is such a thing as toxic positivity.
I feel the same way. Its like anytime something new or free comes along, there are those who just find something negative to say about it. Its very wishy washy. Its like "Guys, its optional. Do you want the new stuff or not?"

When you talked about how it's not cool to like things anymore I couldn't agree more! I sometimes feel bad for loving and enjoying sims 4 as much as I do (to the point where I'll play it for hours almost every night), which is why I love your channel so much. You can feel how much you love the game even when there's glitches or bugs in the game. It's time to make loving things and being passionate cool again!
I could not have said this better. I play for hours as well. While everyone else is debating politics of a video game, im just enjoying gameplay. In my zone and minding my business.
I just love how cute and cozy this park feels! Ty for sharing Oshin! 💙 and I can relate so much to what you said about wanting to be excited about something and sometimes a big part of the community (on games) focus on "trowing hate" or demands instead of enjoying the game, like when the sims team announces something and so many comments are about "fix this, fix that, the bugs this, the bugs that" and I understand that, as players, we need to communicate this kind of things to them, but so many focus on a negative aproach. I just stopped reading comments now haha but it also makes me sad cuz non of my friends plays the sims (or other games I like, i'm in need of "gamer friends" haha) and seeing or reading other people exited about a game I also like, it feels nice.

I love posts like this. It just goes to show that atleast in the wavy community there are true fans who really love the game and are not into hate culture. And big props to Oshin for making her community a positive space for simmers who actually enjoy playing the game.
What you said is so true about going back to the roots of the Sims 4 when people just played for fun and it wasn’t storylines all the time. Not that creating stories is a bad thing at all. It’s just nice to casually play as well. That’s why I’m glad that I’m starting to see people doing more challenges like the rags to riches or the not so berry challenge because that’s how I was introduced to the sims 4 initially.
I had to realize that i should play the game the way ive always played it. Before i switched to pc I had so much fun on console. I could get through multiple generations without getting sick of them. I have been debating on even taking cc build items out my game because i don't furnish that much and i dont build at all. I think youtube ruined the sims for me(not your channel lol) but i wanted to get back to just playing the sims. I stopped looking at leaks, complaints because it became so toxic and draining to see how entitled and negative people are. Thank you oshin for being you ❤️
This voiceover was something I didn’t know I needed to hear, I’m so reminiscent of the Eco Lifestyle era because of many things. 💗 I connect with many things but I love how you expressed your thoughts on leaks, I’ve started to accept it but now I know I don’t have to. I’m also so jealous of people can build for their LP’s lol! I feel me and you both have ideas but we both are scared to execute them 🙌🏼

For anyone that can get Mods! Ravasheen has a slide mod “slide into your mods” I think it’s called and someone made a recolour of it too! There’s also a seesaw mod and a hop scotch mod too:) also play houses by Anna & Bibi and dollish (home decorator needed)

I can definitely say, that I have been rewatching your noble legacy LP while I try to build up and play my legacy family and give them a full life full of friends and family, like you do. And I have been having so much fun I mean obsessed. So keep doing and being you Oshin 💙
This right here. I can relate. Ever since Oshin posted a tutorial video on how to create sims that dont bore you, its changed how I completely play the game. Now I never get bored playing with the same sims. And I used to be someone who played with a family and deleted them a week later. Now ive been playing with the same family for over a year.

I love this! I honestly struggle building parks so much but this has given me so much inspiration!
I've noticed over the past couple years that the majority of the negativity and whining about the game stems from the youtube builders who have never actually played the game. They boot up the game and build the same suburban build while they whine for 20 minutes about how boring the game is. Yet they won't play any other game or do anything different. But why would they when they have an army of "yes men" behind them and fat paycheck for doing the bare minimum, or not to mention they get everything the game releases for free. There's nothing wrong with constructive criticism or wanting something you enjoy to be better, but spoiling the game for others because they feel entitled is ridiculous.
There are some really great sims RUclipsrs though, like yourself, who continue making it worth participating in the community, and I really appreciate that. Your videos bring me a lot of joy, and I get entirely too invested in your sims lives haha
Also, your park is amazing!! I struggle so hard to build community lots. I found that building with floor plans is amazingly helpful for stuff like houses, but it's so hard to find something like that for parks.
I loove your channel. Ive been subscribed for years. And I love the sims all of them. For different reasons. But sims 2&4 are the ones I enjoy the most. I love how cozy your gameplay is and its story based without feeling forced and your builds are realistic and not overly done. Thats how I like to play. Even though i like watching these super creative builds, a lot of them are not playable for me. Im currently working on my own save file with places for my sims to go and things to do. I don't know if i will share it or what to name it.
But anyway, I agree, we should let ppl love things. These same ppl who complain about the game publicly, still buy it or play it. Its too hate clickbatey for me. I had to block and unsubscribe from so many ppl. To protect my peace. I love this game and nobody is gonna make me feel otherwise. Also the cozy gameplay has influenced me tk get cozy things for my desk setup lol so if anybody knows where I can get more sims items to display, please comment them.

It drives me crazy when all the comments on announcements and stuff are just complaints about various things. Are kits too expensive and stupid in the long run? Yes, but it's additional content anyway. Are there way too many bugs the team needs to fix and they're too busy making new packs to fix them? Yes, but they'll do it eventually and its additional content... I just love this game so much that it doesn't matter to me and I wish others felt that way or at least didn't complain as much
Park looks good, Oshin. Also its so relatable when you mention how much hate there is for the sims 4. I love this game and yes, there are things to be fixed about it but its so annoying seeing pop up videos from simmers who complain all the time. Those channels are such a turn off. At the end of the day, were all playing the game so its not cool to rain on someone else's parade. I love being excited about new releases for the sims 4. And I love getting to chat and see posts from other fans who are genuinely excited as well. Thats why I love your channel. You just enjoy the game for what it is. And its so fun and entertaining to watch.
I love these chatty build videos! One thing I've started doing personally to create more realistic builds is gathering reference images on Pinterest of real life places and architecture that I can incorporate into the game. Supper helpful, especially with larger community lots.

I love how the lights at the entrance kind of look like those half poles they put at park entrances to keep cars out. I remember seeing them on like bike paths but also at parks growing up and I use to try and leap frog over it.
For dysfuctional family gameplay, you can just say Lizbeth and Alden, same meaning.
I think it is great to have a video where not much is happening, it gives you the opportunity to just step back and appreciate the family as opposed to navigating from one tragedy to the next. Most of our lives are lived in times that we might consider mundane in the moment but when we look back are the ones that were the most special.
I think there is a lot of hate, but there is also a lot of love from the community, just looking at your comment section there are a lot of people who appreciate the SIMS 4. I think certain social media platforms are bastions for hate, people can't stand to see anyone happy because they are unhappy themselves and that is truly sad. Plus, a lot of those platforms have a lot of bots that project hate as well, but over here we stay wavy🌊 and enjoy the game and your excellent story telling.
