A terrific and wonderful interview Matt. The Pipe Organ has been neglected for a long time and I hope this will encourage more young people to take up the organ. You are an inspiration and role model to many people. In my case a piano was never good enough for me although it is a great instrument to start on and play I have always had a fascination with synthesisers, sequencers and it all started off with a Compton church organ. Hauptwerk are bringing the organ to the computer generation and some church organs now have a digital division. Wishing you all the best for your concert. James.

Well done Matt. I love the sound of the pipe organ. I can only play basic tunes and have tried adding pedals but dont have the confidence to use them when people are there
Well done Matt. Sadly I will not able to attend you concert at Wells Cathedral, I live in the USA. However, will the concert be broadcast via RUclips or another format so one can hear the concert? In addition, how am I able to contribute to the cause for restoration of the Cathedral Organ?
Very nice, but Mozart and Schubert are pretty uncommon on the organ, and also you’re videos are in Downside Abbey and not Wells Cathedral so a little weird. But good publicity anyway and love your stuff.
@@organbuilder272 classical organs have the basics, yes. However he has no capability for second touch for counter melodies, and little to no tuned percussion. These things would be of grest benefit when venturing into popular music.
