This is the finest rendition of this beautiful piece I have ever heard! Crystal clear tremolo and fantastic emphasis where needed. Beautifully played. I think Tárrega himself would have stood and applauded this!
When I used to play classical guitar many years ago, this piece was a favorite. People told me my tremolo was great. But listening to her now, I am humbled. In less capable hands, this piece often ends up sounding like a tremolo study. When Hyuhee Parks plays it, it becomes an ethereal piece of music.
Absolutely ... to all the positive comments ... I was just listening to a really famous classical guitarist playing live on an NPR "Tiny Desk concert" ... This guy is heard all over the place on RUclips - a known quantity ... and well-deserved. But listening to him - and then immediately clicking on/listening to Kyuhee Park's performances there's really no comparison. She's better - musically, technically, aesthetically - just simply better. I hope she has a long and illustrious career.

I know you don’t wanna be called a racist but there’s just something about pointing out to how special a particular race is in doing something compared to other races. That’s still racism regardless if it is cleverly worded or not. No different from the time they thought the white man was superior to the black man. I’ll put it to you like this: I can say I like Enescu, Verdi, Chopin and Bach without pointing out how they were all white men. 👍
The tremolo plays the melody and the thumb the accompaniment. The tremolo should be louder. Technically, it is very difficult to control the volume of the tremolo vs the thumb and the frequently the thumb is quite loud compared to the tremolo. Most of the time that is what is heard and mistakenly accepted as normal.
