Then there was a 40-45 year dropout, and on my old knees I bought a guitar and started watching internet to learn. Since watching the performances of the greatest guitarists on the Internet, I have seen many excellent guitarists (Eliot Fisk, Ghiglia, Moran Wasser, John Feeley, John Williams, Redzic - sorry if I missed someone). Then I came across this Korean girl and I must say that she rightfully belongs among the greatest guitarists in the world. I don't like it when someone talks about the "best" guitarist, because there is no such thing - all of them belong to the elite - and maybe I don't even know everyone.
This young and beautiful Korean guitarist is a genius of the classical guitar. After seeing and hearing her playing this piece (and many others) with great difficulty level, I am convinced that it is the best guitarist I ever heard (I have heard classical guitar for more than forty years).
Yes, from when I heard first her I knew she was really special. She truly is in another level, not just from the difficulty of the pieces, but the expressiveness with which she plays, the near perfect dynamics and the insane capacity to make the whole timbric range of the guitar truly shine. She really is a genius.

The only one able to make real music out of this incredibly difficult but wonderful piece. The composer would be proud that his piece was eventually interpreted as it should. She is by far the greatest guitarist around.

But for me, this one is by far the best one in the terms of musicality and interpretation. Unfortunately, the very bad quality of the audio/video recording of this stunning performance cannot completely highlight the amazing talent of Ms Park. She is clearly a world-class classical guitarist, and consequently she deserves the best in video production. I really hope Ms Park will record this piece again in a near future with some high quality audio/video equipments involved. 🙏🙏🙏
