- This piece: Folia (Variations on a Theme of Sor, op.15) Miguel Llobet
(1878-1938) performed by Rovshan Mamedkuliev was recorded on January 10th, 2014 as part of the 2014-2015 Portland Guitar Series. What an incredible and memorable concert this was! He had the audience in standing ovation at intermission. Bringing talent like this to Portland is why I do this.

& Kudos for the fact he appears to be playing a Spruce topped Classical Guitar. I don't recognize the shape of the Headstock; I do wish people posting Guitar concert videos would get some information which Guitar Maker's instrument he played for the Concert. Update: If anyone was interested, the instrument he's playing here is a Contreras. ( Exquisite woods & craftsmanship)
