crazy how everyone here dies a terrible death (literally) except torvi - who somehow manages to find peace with native americans after outliving every single one of her viking friends.
@@MELLO_666Her toddler being thrown from the boat during the real bad storm made me sick to my stomach. As a Mother, I could feel her anguish. Watching Torvi come to terms that her daughter was gone forever was devastating. (Although it was all quite quick, over a few episodes.) I'm really glad she ended up with Ubbe. I think they were a wonderful couple!
*spoiler alert* ⚠️⚠️⚠️ I'm SO glad Torvi ended up with Ubbe. I always really liked Ubbe and he seemed like a smart, curious and level-headed man. As he grew older in the show, he became even more likeable to me by his actions and honor. Especially with what happened in Greenland but mostly, when they made it to the Golden Lands. The way he addressed the murder of the Native man was what he knew needed to be done.

Vikings actually weren’t tall like how they depicted them to be. They were actually lean or stocky and stood about 5’6 on average.

The big guy was an actual Norwegian, not like the anglo actors playing vikings.

Yes, it was after

It must be a deep feeling outliving everyone you know, and to be the only one left. Must be a sad experience.
