That tow truck should be confiscated as evidence in a crime.
Great, the city is tracking the tow company; but when is the city going to pull their business/operating license altogether!?
When are they going to arrest the driver? They know who it was.

@@---fn7lh San Francisco has recently elected a radical communist prosecutor, who has decided that most low lever crimes, are no longer crimes, and will not be prosecuted. As a result, numerous stores are closing, as shop lifters are walking in with large bags, and just clearing the shelves. If anyone tries to stop them, they arrest and prosecute the citizen for assault. It makes no sense at all.

That's scary. Carjacking? What was he going to do if he snagged the car? Kidnap them?
These is company policy strip this company of its license, and go after the owner. All tow truck companies must be required to have working cameras while on the street.
Why isn't this tow truck driver in custody? Why isn't the owners of the company being charged with a crime?
Denying them city contracts is NOT enough. They need to be in jail.

These SF towing companies are a known scam, which brings in a lot of revenue to city government. They routinely tow legally parked vehicles knowing that the owners have no legal recourse, but to simply pay the fines.
That is Carjacking kidnapping Rabbery holdaping.

In SF nothing is safe. Avoid at all costs. I'm surprised that someone didn't walk up and smash the window to grab their valuables while this was happening.

We were scammed by a towing company and only got our money back because we found that they were collecting welfare. We told them if they returned our money we would not notify the authorities. Car showed up within 30 minutes and a child ran up to the door with the cash.

Seems the lady's car was paid for. Even if it wasn't, dangerously trying to hook it while she's driving it is definitely an offence. Save your criticism for the criminal driving the tow truck.
That was a rental car which was fully paid. He wanted to scare them to leave the car so he could take it. You are an idiot
