hey man I know you've moved on to better things, not sure you even read this anymore but I really miss your channel man. You had some of the best reviews, straight forward consistent. Truly wish you were still reviewing games and I hope you are doing well!
You know i got your back BGC! Liked and shared ✌🏾. I rely on this channel like no other to stay updated with the indie games i might like. AAA titles are fine, but there are creative minds at work in a lot of these independent games that definitely deserve appreciation.
Lol! Thanks for letting me know. I have been working on sound setups for so long, trying to get it perfect. I know I need a better mic, but I also need a better computer. Haha! Priorities. 😆
It's pretty clear to see how they came up with this game : they just threw every idea they had at the wall to see what sticked. Ratalaika strikes again, and it's decently priced, too. This'll do very nicely at the end of the ol' backlog.
I picked this one up the days it came out too. Still haven’t played it, but that black and white 1bit style is my weakness. (Downwell, Minit, etc). Great review as always!! What was everyone’s favorite announcement in yesterday’s Direct? Mine was the N64/Genesis feature with membership. I’m gonna play the crap out of those games
Dang , I hadn’t seen this one . Great video , and where did you go ? My Patreon app got deleted for lack of space , but noticed you’ve been quiet for a while !
Ratalaika put out the Devious Dungeon series, and Micetopia as well. Their ability to entice the player in to "one more level", is why they are one of the better budget Devs around. (Beware of some titles)
I've just finished the game. It was great fun, but the checkpoints get pretty sparse towards the end. My only issue is that the coins and stuff seem pretty pointless. I didn't notice anything unlock after collecting pretty much everything.
I spoke to someone else who 100%d it. Apparently there are multiple endings depending on how much you collect. Not really worth the effort imo, but it's something!
I picked this up a little while back because of your review. This is a balls to the wall difficult game. It took me 1053 deaths and almost 11 hours. You mentioned in your review that there were 40 levels. The switch game on the appears to have 28. Did you misspeak?

Your view on graphics vs gameplay is something I can appreciate.
Why thank you, kind sir~
Agreed !
@Dale Macarena no prob man
Dear budget gamer,
I just came across your channel and I really like it. Great in depth reviews of smaller, unknown titles. Thanks for your work!

Woo! You da man. Thank you! 😁👍
'"Endless lives and generous checkpoints"... ahhh, what a breath of fresh air in 2022 when every indie game has permadeath and is a roguelike.
You really deserve more views, hope your channel will keep growing! Keep it up!
Haha! I hope so too! I hope more people discover the channel and the awesome community behind it. 👊😁
I've got a heavy retro gaming background. Purchased. LOVE this channel.
This channel loves you right back! 😍
It has been a year and I really miss these reviews.
Great review. Appreciate your work!
Thanks so much Indie Greg. I appreciate your support for the channel. 😁
I'm adding this to my wishlist. Thank you for the review!

I might have to pick this up. dang.
Not bad for $3.

Oh emm gee, right? So random. 🤣

I'm hoping for a sequel to Micetopia.
Big fan of Ratalaika. Cheers
Me too, more and more.

Yeah, I think they went toward achievements in the Steam version.

Not really worth the effort imo, but it's something!
There's an extra screen message when you finish the game, and you can change the game main "color" in stage select menu (at least in Steam version)
THe first review I saw was Friends of RIngo, such a great review. Yknow there's a new Yeo game due soon...no pressure lol
This game looks great, I am pretty sure I am gonna get this one. I love me some punishment in gaming.
Haha! It was really fun, but get ready for the pain.
Nothing better then stick to the wall gameplay. Haha.
Looks great
picking this one up

Hello first 🥇

The queen has returned. Congrats.
