There is a mask that really helped me with platforming. I played this a while ago so I don't remember which one but the positive/negative traits are a big part of the game so I could see someone missing out if they didn't use any of them.

This looks quite interesting but those problems also feel very annoying so maybe I'll wait for a really good sale. I'm really not that into the "challenging platformer" genre, but I do like Metroidvanias and the whole concept and style here is a little tempting.
Can you review Turmoil? It looks like a neat management sim... and totally indie. It's on sale right now for $2.99 (Switch) and wanted to know if it's worth it.
ON sale now, 20% off, I had to pick it up after your review. I like good platforming chalenges and since this game you say has more of that than combat or metroidvania, for $6.00 Canada dolars I fgotta give it a go. Firing up tthhe game now.
@@thatcokestuff i LIKE IT WUITE A BIT. i GET WHT btg SAYS ABOUT THE SLIPERY EDGHES,BUT iACTUALLY LIKE THAT BECAUSE U CAN DASH ON A DIAGonal up against and edge and it kind of pulls you up. I can tell the rounded slipery efges were a deliberate design. And as for climbing up, to fdo it best do it like metroid, jump and dash STRAIGHT UP, then just tap over a bit to land perfectly. ike in orignal metrodi games u jump straiught up then push over rather than jump[ sideways. I am stuck now, I have gone to 100% of all the maps I can find, not sure where to go next. I really like the idea where every shot is homing and will alwyas hit u, but the shield parry works every time if u time it. And the screen shake and explosion when attakcing and the explode sounds makes it feel impactful. Super basic graphics reminds me of vvvvvv
@@thatcokestuff There seems to be these warpy looking things that look like teleporters but I can't figure out what they do or how to activate, nor do I know how to get any new powerups or weapons yet and I don't know where to go next.
I hope so too. Thats the whole reason I publish reviews of great games and game that need a good bit of polish. I really hope that the dev, or other devs see the holes and learn to improve on them.
Very appreciated because I love Metroidvania but absolute do not like Super Meat Boy style games. I certainly hope this game finds an audience though because honestly it's just nice seeing games where the developer/s visibly give a damn about trying to be their own thing.
Watching you try to make some of those jumps frustrated me. I can only imagine how it'll be if I played it personally.🤣 This is a pass for me. Thanks for the review

Oh! Thays the game that came out a while back, where the main character draws stuff, right? Always looked fun.

@@duhmez once you have the upgrade to teleport, check your menu, you can throw a shield into those pot things to teleport
