Hi Erhan, hope you are feeling better. Very interesting house here. No pool in the backyard. Neat finding a little bathroom behind those doors, I thought it was a closet. Something you don't see everyday. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I really like the main part of the house, the chandeliers are very nice. Its an unusual build especially with toilets in closets but still nice property .It's a shame they tear down such well built places. Its 106 degrees where I am in Oklahoma and with humidity it feels like 112 degrees that's F.very very hot👍❤️🇺🇸thank you for another great one
Love this house!! I’m just sickened by the waste of such quality built homes. So wasteful. In Europe, you can see homes and buildings that have been there for centuries. You can feel the history of the place and in some cases be where history took place! Here in the states, we do the same thing. Tear down our history for the latest fad.
What’s up guys. Lol. So many mirrors for you Ethan. Glad you like the seventies style. It was a period to blend in with the natural environment. The levels makes the house so cool. It has a raised basement too with lots of natural light. That is quite a large house. It is hard to imagine the upstairs before the reno. A door from the master which leads to another wing of the house. Wonder what that part was when built. But a gem for sure. Love this place. The staircase is beautiful while looking from the top and seeing all the natural light and sloped ceiling. Such a graceful and charming house. Definitely a must to save from greedy developers.
Ethan, one word, GLOVES. That house had me so confused. I get the tenant part but the main house made me dizzy trying to figure out the floor plan. Those chandeliers are not “very seventies”, they span all years, even to today for the right house.
Hey Ethan, this home is very interesting, I've never seen a working toilet in a closet before!!! This place is pretty big & has a seventies vibe. Thanks for sharing another exciting adventure!! 👍👍🚽
woohoo Ethan ,i sure when this home was new it was nice an of course great spacious yard ,. the floors still look nice , even if it is laminated. the first floor definitely have totally 70s floors an never seen a small bathroom behind like a closet doors before .looks someone started to remodel .thank you Ethan always enjoy your videos an looking forward to the next one . very close to to 100k peace ✌️✌️✌️ out
I would definitely not call this house creepy. I love it its so spacious. If some of the rooms were up dated. This l would call a hidden Jem. I wish that l could live in this house. I would think that l was living in a beautiful mansion. Someone needs to save this house. It has amazing potential in the right hands🙏🙏👍👍💯💯
I have watched this video again it is a very big house I love the sun room the garden is a nice large open space . That little hidden bathroom is great. Thanks for the video.
The room with the Tiffany light fixture was called a four season room. It had screens & windows for more seasons to enjoy out there. Glad u fought the spider webs & not me. I would have turned tail & left. U are brave. I would have killed every spider I saw, too. Great coverage as usual!!!!😊
That’s an interesting place. Wonder what it was like before being separated for tenants. Weird that some of those bedrooms in the beginning didn’t have closets at all. What purpose did they serve before being made bedrooms. Strange how the paneled room had a closet that was a restroom. There were quite a few in there. Kind of strange not having kitchen on main floor. Would loved to have seen the layout in the 1972 edition. Cool find Ethan. Wow you are so close to that 100k🎉! Take care be well and stay safe!
I thought the person might have had a home office/consulting business that occasionally had visits from clients. They wouldn't have wanted the visitor to walk through another area of the home to use the toilet.
The bedrooms upstairs may have been made out of a large rec room. There was an armoire in one room and a portable closet in the other. If it was done just to rent it out they may not have bothered with putting in closets. Just in case they wanted to take the walls back down to have a single room again. Two by fours with sheet rock wouldn’t be too hard to take out especially if they didn’t put them up using code measurements to save money. They would all be non load bearing walls. I still can’t wrap my head around the closet bathroom though. I certainly wouldn’t want someone else in the room when I needed to use it. Maybe it was for someone who needed to have a private toilet available at all times really close.
Thanks For The Tour, Gee Why Are They Pulling It Down, Not Much Wrong With It, The Only Damage I Saw Was The Water Damage In That Lounge Room, Above The FirePlace. In New Zealand, People Would Do That Up, And Sell It Off For A Profit.
I would think the house was a custom build, I don't think any Architect would have had this plan in a portfolio. There are a lot of odd features, and some of them would never pass code here. This was an expensive build, but it has a kind of Quirky charm to it. Cheers Ethan
My guess was the owners were Asian (7:36 sign on door was in characters) and all the mirrors and the two ship paintings made me think they were using feng shui. The painting of a ship is believed to create good opportunities, wealth and success. Could have added the room divider in that room across from the office downstairs to slow down energy. I rented a house from Chinese owners and they had different things like this to correct what they saw as problem areas.
than you Ethan for another great look at a beautiful home it is a shame that people have these beautiful homes and then along comes a bulldozer to smash them down also in Australia we are near the end of winter and your summer be nearly over and you be in Autum and Australia be in the first week of Spring but thanks for a great video and see you in the next one
...Just maybe the water closet was meant for sometimes a staycation..sick with the flu or having a bad moment when a party is going on, and someone doesn’t want company accidentally bursting in because they couldn’t run fast enough to lock the door, barfing,or poopsies.😂🎉
i have been in hundreds if not thousands of homes over the course of the last 10 years and there has not been a single piece of evidence to show that any of that stuff even exists.
No closets in 70s built home? Something not right there. Edit….ok, got it, rental area, no closets. The trim on doors in actual house area is soooo 70s!
Cool home! I loved the "secret" bathroom!
I always picture in my head what it could've looked like back in the day!
I love the bathroom in the closet!!! I wasnt expecting that either! Freckin awesome!
Nice to see you again Ethan. A simple 70's house on a great lot. Happy Summer
That house was unique. I never expected to see a bathroom in a closet before. 😂 Awesome video 👍☺️
Fabulous find Ethan....love everything about the 70s ...thanks stay safe well and happy 💋 🤗
Hello Julie how are you doing today
Now that’s a cool house. Needs a lot of work but the ‘bones’ are great.
They left a lot of mirrors 🪞 for you Ethan lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hello Amy how are you doing today
Beautiful home I love the ceder cabinet and the chandeliers I hope they save them.
This is one of my favorites! Mirrors galore and I giggle every time you say "what's up guys?" and you reallllly said that a lot in his adventure :-)
*Sitting in the office talking to someone* “Excuse me. I’ll be right back. I just have to take a dump in the closet”
😅😅 i was thinking the same thing
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😬😬😬😄😄😄😄

Never saw a restroom in a closet before. Not sure how I feel about that 😂. Not a bad place but not a place I would live in. Thanks for the video.
Love the sun room!
What a mix of old and new and a strange little bathroom in the closet . Cool video Ethan

I loved the sun room with secluded back yard, wonderful trees surrounding the yard. 😊
I love the house Ethan and the layout is excellent 👍I wouldn’t change a thing 😄

What a odd home but I’m sure it was beautiful back in the day. Thank you for sharing.
Another great find Ethan 😊

❤ Hi Ethan that was interesting lol I guess it was someone's dream home cool basically two separate apartments good for them 🎉🎉
Hello Mary how are you doing today
The wooden cabinet was called An armore ( closet)
Ethan, one word, GLOVES.
That house had me so confused. I get the tenant part but the main house made me dizzy trying to figure out the floor plan.

Love that place very cool 😎👍 I love the tri level homes
Nice fireplace indeed Ethan…

Have good day 👍🍻
That 1st ship painting, there I'd a few Canadian painter's with the last name Audette
Love these old split level houses
Odd place for a toilet and sink in the closet 😂😂😂
I would think the house was a custom build, I don't think any Architect would have had this plan in a portfolio. There are a lot of odd features, and some of them would never pass code here. This was an expensive build, but it has a kind of Quirky charm to it. Cheers Ethan
My guess is the “office” was retrofit as a bedroom/bathroom for a senior or disabled family member.
A nice cold room.
I felt every cobweb.
I love that brown wood floor another beautiful house thanks
Definitely had some “interesting” renovations at some point! I’ll bet the original house was gorgeous!
That wardrobe toilet is the weirdest thing. I mean, the SMELLS! I 😝
Looks like the house has flooded in the basement maybe due to burst pipe and front livingroom.
Another great find.😊
nice little house
Ethans pets on bedroom 2. Spider webs!

I like this house is not bad but I have thought that that was a closet not a bathroom that’s weird
The wood armwhor in the one room is g gorgeous❤
Hi Ethan 🌈🌈 wow almost at 💯k!! Cool place!! Wish it had original surfaces/colors but interesting nonetheless 🙋♀️ Cindy
than you Ethan for another great look at a beautiful home it is a shame that people have these beautiful homes and then along comes a bulldozer to smash them down also in Australia we are near the end of winter and your summer be nearly over and you be in Autum and Australia be in the first week of Spring but thanks for a great video and see you in the next one
If you want to throw someone off, call the toilet, the proper name, Water Closet.
...Just maybe the water closet was meant for sometimes a staycation..sick with the flu or having a bad moment when a party is going on, and someone doesn’t want company accidentally bursting in because they couldn’t run fast enough to lock the door, barfing,or poopsies.😂🎉
Cool.
quick question: aren't you afraid of evil entities following you back home after exploring these abandoned places?
i have been in hundreds if not thousands of homes over the course of the last 10 years and there has not been a single piece of evidence to show that any of that stuff even exists.
Great question definitely could be a problem
Bedroom 1 is a good size.
Hel Ethan so love your vlogs I ove the way you give the history. Of the places
Where are your contact gloves Ethan?!
My aunt has double sliding door closets in her bedroom (house built in the 50s), one of those closets is a two piece bathroom 😃
That was the most quirkest home ever. Thanks for the tour. Bathroom in a closet. No thanks. Big house tho!!
I'm bipolar with p.t.s.d you have no idea how much these videos help me dissapear to somewhere other than my own head 💞💞
it makes me so happy that i’m able to help💙
@@ethanminnie ❤️❤️❤️ x
Otherwise known as a solarium.
How would they open the downstairs bathroom door with the toilet in the way 🤷🏼♀️
Nice 🏠
What was that a green board on the wall? A classroom?
Why do the bedrooms not have closets?
the cloth zipper and wood ‘tv’ cabinets are wardrobes
I'm glad there was no animal in the crawl space in the basement that would have been freaky and scary 😳.
This is just fucking sad😢 it’s a great video, but why they would want to demolish this house What a waste
I wonder if they were using that paneled room as a bedroom for an elderly relative and put the bathroom in the closet for that reason.
I’m sure that was probably a really cool house in the 70s. But very weird now
nice house ,id love to have that
312 minutes in, is an armoire à clothes closet. 😊
A toilet in a closet. Why, just why, the house is big enough for a lot of bathrooms. Did they maybe rent out many rooms? Shared housing…
A wardrobe Ethan
Closets for a complete after thought in this house how weird
I guess that would be called a water closet literally minus to sink
13:13
No closets in 70s built home? Something not right there. Edit….ok, got it, rental area, no closets. The trim on doors in actual house area is soooo 70s!
That’s not a tv cabinet that is a wardrobe to hang clothes
SQUIRREL!!!
Cool :)
That’s an Anwar!
👍👍👍
Portable Closet
Sounds like someone else in the house with you
they were.
