I have just finished modifying mine, But I used a reed switch up by the top button (around 11oclock) I also got a tiny vibe motor from a mobile phone and put that in where you have you switch, the vibe is much better with a smaller motor. I have found tho that every so often when I switch it into (auto mode) the motor will vibe untill I switch it off and back on.... Thanks for your video It was very helpful.
@ma3x55 The problem you are discussing in 5 minutes can be turned off by holding the white button for 3 seconds. Sleep mode can be turned on using the Pokemon Go Plus+ charger. The switch is then unnecessary.
Sorry don't know if it ever come out 😅 but I can tell you that to me plus+ with the mod is worth the money. It really depends on your style of play and how hardcore about the game you are. Reconnect without the need to press the autocatcher is a really nice bonus that I got used to. I stopped playing pokemon sleep after I got my 5 snorlax so I can't recomend it for that. I only use autocatch with great and ultra balls during events but it is also a very nice upgade. Compared to some autocathers, plus+ needs to be charged more frequently and is only for one account, but that isn't very important to me. So overall I am satisfied with it 🙂
@@ma3x558i am new in the field. Can you tell please sides of powerMon Plus. Are there a different ones which has the same functionality like pokemon Go plus + but with bigger battery/ multiple users? Do you know that ?
Nice work, I have a question, though. I'm only using it for Pokemon Sleep to track my sleep. My problem is that I'm almost always pressing the main button by accident. I want to use the switch to disable the main button entirely and re-enable it. Is it possible? Is the Main Button connection inside the flex cable? where should I cut the connection? I don't mind to scratch the mainboard.
No. The button is surface mounted. It has 4 legs (2 positive 2 ground i believe). If you cut the legs it would be useless. You could try to do different button to connect to the same testpoint that i am connecting to in the video, but i wouldnt do that. I have a clear plastic case on mine, that is raised higher than the button and accidental button presses almost dont happen. Watch my latest video, you can see it there. I bought it on aliexpress.
@@ma3x558 thx for your answer. I got it working with scratching the connection through the board on the backside and solder the switch between leg and test point. Hey I had a question, wondering if you are experiencing this too. I noticed when using the auto catch, it doesn't push the button until maybe halfway through the second green light up. I was kind of annoyed by it but noticed it seemed to behave the same way for you. However I noticed later that if the plus + is plugged in for charging, it pushes on the first green light up. Have you noticed similar behavior?

Can the vibrator be removed completely or is that black wire necessary? I've already snipped the red and black wire for the vibrator as a quickfix to get rid of it...also, anyone know if 3mm switch sits flush on the device or would it be safer to go with 4mm? Edit: does this also autospin stops or just autocatch?
I would recommend trying to re-solder a new wire. For future knowledge, it is almost never necessary to snip the black wire as it is simply the ground wire. The red supplies the power and is an industry standard across all products.
