What I liked the most about ClickUp is that it uses the Kanban Board view so that you can see your tasks in a better way and manage them more appropriately.I'm now using zentao with the same features even better but cheaper price.
Yes Zachary, it's very promising (I am also "piuipiui", by the way) but still climbing the steep learning curve here, as I mentioned in my comment to Joel and Whitney above. I am looking forward to getting more out the fantastic feature I see exist, but don't have the hang of yet.
Hi Joel, thank you and Whitney for this great video! Did you end up switching? Will you be making more videos? I am just trying to learn ClickUp now, I see the potential, but the learning curve is still daunting. The developer team and customer service are great, you get pretty quick turnaround on the feedback, but I wish they put up more instructional videos on You Tube, which would also be great advertising, especially suggesting strategies on initial set up. One VERY USEFUL tip I got from Whitney here, was her pointing out that notes on the notepad CAN be turned into tasks. Currently I am using Google Keep a lot, but I have a gazillion notes that I need to process and am trying to find the best way to set up a "master inbox" in which to brain dump all my notes from my mobile, on the fly and then take the time going into the desktop version and assign them to their correct location. I am eagerly waiting for their upgrade on the Android app, I hope they get rid of all that un-necessary real estate, like empty cards with a "nothing to see here" note in the middle that seems a bit pointless. Still, I am a very very hopeful "future" long term user of this, if they keep up the good work and make it "Google Keep" friendly. How cool it would be to shift select all my Google Keep notes and dump them into an inbox in ClickUp...
@@JoelWidmer thanks for getting back to me about that, very exciting to hear... I will let you know! Mine is mostly for personal use, currently, with potential to use it for bigger projects down the line. Are you aware of the Facebook ClickUp Users closed group? I am not an admin, but some people here are, if you are interested. It's a really cool group. I suppose if you are interested, I could let the admins know.
@@JoelWidmer perfect, I'll "see you" there. It appears to be a bit of a "tense moment" right now, with an "animated debate" around the imminent release of the new version .Many people are wondering if the app team has been slowly steering/veering away from their original vision. I sincerely hope not. For me personally, having ADHD and massive time-management issues, I know I need to stick to one app and make it work. It took me several weeks and a few trails with other apps, to finally "land" on CU and intend to make the most of it. Hopefully the current trend will NOT lead to CU no longer being viable to me. I think they are doing a fantastic job overall and hopefully they will keep making wise choices. I only have Google Keep as my first "brain dump", but since your helpful video I found out about the notepad and will try to start using that more, to eliminate the step of importing. Ultimately (and for now at least) I am only using it for my self and occasional "team of two" with my virtual assistant cousin :-)
@@silviopina_111 Couldn't have said it better and great insights. That's exactly what I see happening as well but I'm hopeful. They just released the chrome extension today as well so I'm excited about trying that for brain dumps as well!

Hey Silvia, We did end up switching and have been using Clickup for 2mos now and loving it! What other types of videos would you like to see?
