Ordered my 2022 2500 LT gas back in July and it's finally built and being shipped to me. Not towing anything huge, just my camper, but excited to upgrade from my Silverado 1500.
Glad you went with chevy, I ordered 2 diesels and 1 gas 2022 for my business in red hot customs and I get nothing but compliments. They are great workhorses and the most comfortable ride compared to f250s. You got the marker lights which makes it look more rugged. The one thing that made my two diesel builds better was the comfort infotainment with crash avoidance for only 400 more and the sound system came upgraded. I also ordered the diesels with split gate. And repairs are 80% easier than on any ford out there.
I wish I could’ve ordered exactly everything I wanted for sure, but this dealership had too good of a deal and with only 5k miles at the time, it was basically new. I have been thoroughly impressed so far! Those red ones pop for sure

These trucks are crazy money and I almost went with a gas powered version but after a year and 17,000 miles of pulling our 12k fifth wheel (Grand design 303RLS) all over the Rockies and Sierra mountains (we live in the Sierra Foothills) I am thrilled to have this truck. I just traded my 2021 W/T reg cab for a 22 crew cab custom. Both are gas. I can’t justify the 10k for the Duramax nor do I need the extra power. I pull a 33.5 ft. Grey Wolf travel trailer bumper pull that weighs about 7500 pounds. The 6.6 gas does great and I get between 9 and 10 mpg loaded.
Yeah, I resisted the diesel for years... now I could never go back to a gasser. The L5P Duramax/Allison package (GMC 3500 Denali) is such a joy to tow with and you need an exhaust brake for downhill as much as you need power for uphill.

I'm 5'10" tall and test drove a new 2021 2500WT 4x4 Regular Cab, manual seats. I liked it but had 2 issues. First the manual driver's seat was too low for me. I hate that GM doesn't believe that work truck and custom trim purchasers don't deserve lumbar comfort for 60-70k.
I agree, all it takes is a manual knob and a spring loaded cage to adjust. I’ll be honest tho, I’m almost 18k into mine and have no real complaints. Everything has performed as advertised.
@@aslife3813 Definitely - nothing needs to be electronic. Good luck and glad to hear it's treating you well.
U could get 400k miles out of the diesel if maintained and not beat on...I like these hd Chevys, good luck
Thanks Leo! That’s the plan, it will become a company vehicle for an employee down the road
had a guy in here the other day to pick up a piece of equipment had 875K on an '06 duramax, never been touched
Just paid $59,000 for the same truck brand new with 8 miles on it.
Nice! What state you in?
Im noticing all the truck prices are dropping
Chevy 2020 and newer hd trucks are hideous. Hopefully the refresh for 2024 improves the looks.
63k for that? There’s nothing in it! No way
Dear
followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who
buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into
the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service,
the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a
malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help
will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep
your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluf
The gas engine would be OK but that Duramax diesel known as the Drama Diesel they are no good that Japanese made engine comes apart when you put them to work
Isuzu still has their hand in it for sure, but I hope mine stays together
Nice! Just really dislike the new grille design! 🤢
Not gonna lie, I used to hate them, but it’s grown on me. GMC is still way better looking for sure imo
Why does the wife need to sign paperwork if its your company truck and they are paying for it?
It’s my company and need the wife’s income on the app paperwork since she has a “real job”
!!!!!.........THE REAL ISSUE IS WHY DID THE ORIGINAL OWNER DUMP THE TRUCK AND take SUCH A LOSS .......!!!!! So the slum dealer is selling a USED truck at a brand new price...... Such a nice guy....
Unfortunately he lost his job 3 months after purchase
I OWN A 2022 2500 CHEVY 4WD WORST TRUCK I HAVE EVER BOUGHT I OWN FORK LIFTS THAT RIDE BETTER ALL MY EQUIPMENT HAVE BETTER SEATS GET THIS JUNK OFF MY PROPERTY FOR SALE
Crap lighting. Could not even see the truck really. It was like you have a big spot light mounted to you head or something.
That's a better truck then a aluminum can
It's not an Allison, it's Allison branded, there is a Big difference.
Actually there isn't a difference because GM has been making there Allison branded transmissions for 10 years now with no issues.
@@samduran5180 Actually there is a huge difference, that's why they don't run the 10 speeds in the 5500 and 6500 commercial duty, they run the dependable 6 speed Allison.
Wellf or 1 thing ,any new truck ISN'T cheep!
Video is wayyy over exposed, nice truck though👍
Better buy two cause they break down alot
I’ve owned all big 3 brand trucks, and two jeeps. They all go thru their own bad and good times with mechanical issues, but what I’ve found is 75% of issues can be avoided with proper maintenance and not adding power the hard parts weren’t meant to handle. But no, can’t afford 2! Thanks for watching sir
63k, these truck prices are ridiculous
Agreed, that’s why I said cheapish haha. It’s all relative. The order I had in at Ford for a 350 would’ve been over &80k after taxes but that was a lariat trim
Um um um um um um um um um
Uummmm
I'm growing old listening to your excuses. Speed it up. Everyone by now knows the pros and cons of these trucks. If you have something to say, say it. The first 23 minutes we could have done without
Thanks for watching
frame motor tranny body trim bits 26 k hope its got 40k in the dash
