That was beautiful to watch - each pass tied it closer and closer together.

One question: when glazing with an airbrush, what psi and dilution do you use?

It's a cool color scheme. It would be really interesting to replicate the scheme using dry brushing and traditional brush painting techniques, for comparison sake. I often think that I prefer the results of traditional brush method painting, so to see the same unique scheme painted both ways would be a fun way to confirm that.

Thanks for the comment! I’ll have to see if I can fit in a brush version with glazes and other traditional methods rather than the good old air brush! :) thanks for watching!

Of course you can try it on your first model. It’s a pretty intense color scheme but looks great! :)

I'd like to see how you do the actual layering of colors of your carnifex, before your stipling effect. Great color scheme.

The method was pretty much the video just in smaller detail. So small that it’s difficult to pick up on camera. The only way to get it across was by doing an up sales version of it on the armor piece.

This looks fantastic, but how is this slapchop? Slapchop uses a black or dark primer with a light grey drybrush followed by a white drybrush and then you paint with speedpaints or contrast paints. The whole purpose is to let the primer and drybrush create extra shadows and depth. This video has zero steps from slapchop. It's just standard painting with stippling and airbrushing.

For me Slapchop is a use of Zenithal colors to then use as a natural light change and allow for blending quickly. I use the dotting method and airbrush blending to create a quick effective blending method. Im sorry if the title hoodwinked you into thinking something else.

Lovely looking scheme. Maybe going in to more detail about the rest of the model. I would like to see the skin colour and base in a video tutorial to
Just went through your library and saw the base video, nice

Your content and style is great, but imo the background music you use is a tad too loud/distracting especially when you're talking
