Best $$$ I ever spent for DIY GL1833 maintenance saving you big bucks by avoiding the dealerships-stealerships! Great lighting and step by step guidance from Fred inspires confidence in doing the job(s) yourself and enjoying doing the work yourself satisfaction! Thanks again Fred for providing the collection of video's that keep on growing!
Master mechanic at work, impressive. Dude, I would never attempt to do what you just did. Its easy to take apart, but a lot harder to put together again.
I'll be getting your videos for sure. My wing is still at the dealership, but when I finally get it home and ride it enough do the first service, the videos are on my list.
Hey Fred, thank you so much for your EXCELLENT videos! I'm thinking of buying a motorcycle lift and just watched video NO. 6, "Oil Change ". I noticed you did not use your jack when you changed your oil and you didn't mention in video NO. 16 "Jacking up the bike" whether or not the jack blocks the drain plugs and oil filters. I also have the DCT. I'm thinking of buying a J&S Jack for oil changes etc as well as cleaning my bike. Thank you.
Ok, interested in purchasing your video instructions. I am well above average mechanically inclined and wondering about how long it would take to replace the instrument panel cover #44
Are these videos a clear as day light? I really wonder just how many people buy these videos thinking it’s as easy as 1,2,3 and get in so deep they can’t back together? 😬
I'm still trying to figure out how hard it is to remove the ECU to have it flashed. I have 8,000 mi of mine so I'm not needing an air filter yet but that's going to be my next problem
Faut il tout démonter pour brancher un câble usb de la prise qui se situe dans la malle arrière et l 'acheminer au guidon de façon à avoir le car play et la recharge du téléphone au guidon.Comment faire passer ce câble ?Merci pour votre aide
Fred's videos, HANDS DOWN! Fred actually gets into all areas of the bike and teaches you. He was also an aeronautical engineer and worked on some serious, top secret stuff. Chris (Cruiseman) wrote cruise blogs (hence the name cruiseman) and started off reviewing parts for bikes for anyone who would pay him, mostly SoCalMoto Gear. While his production quality is better, Fred's the original and his knowledge on these bikes are second to none, except maybe for Lewis (Electrical Connection) when is comes to proper wiring and electronic farkles and Rob (techdude from the GL1800Riders board) for tracking down hard to diagnose electrical issues. Those three are the go to people for anything Goldwing related.

Wow you’ve done everything to your bike!

Does anyone here have an opinion on Fred's videos vs. Cruiseman's ?
