Lou's Aztek Dummy channel is a must for people interested in Sci-fi models and figure painting. He's a delightful guy and his weekly shows are great to watch.
Norm I am glad you interviewed Lou on one of his builds! He is a true gem and gentleman of the modeling community. Your enthusiasm and talents is of equal match to Aztec Dummy creator Lou Dalmaso 🖖
Some people are sooo creative. A filming set is an incredible idea for a diorama! I'm very thankful for RUclips and the internet in general. With them, I have been able to find & enjoy older shows I never knew about before the internet. I even can find other fans of obscure stuff like Animorphs & Beakman's World to talk to.
That diorama is absolutely wonderful. We often like to make models of the ships “in universe” but to make a display like this celebrating the creative process and the act of actually creating TOS is simply fantastic.
Tested is one of those channels that beyond being great content you are always so good at putting links to the the people you interview and the events you cover it makes it so much more enjoyable to be able to find good channels to follow thankyou
Saturday Mornings wouldn't be the same without Lou's weekly build video on his Aztec Dummy YT channel. Good to see him get the recognition he deserves.
The thing that bothers me about Norm is how vigorously he gesticulates within inches of these pricless creations. If it was my model, I'd ask him to please take a step back!
It was a four week project, but if I took the hours that I spent and put them in a row, it was about 2 to 3 weeks of effort. I had other things going on at the same time.
@aztekdummy That's cool, I just thought it look out of place for a photo shoot. Beautiful building. When I was a kid I used to pretend I had a shuttle I made out of a refrigerator box.
It's TRUE the project was 4 weeks long, but there was only 2 to 3 weeks of effort on the shuttle set, cuz I was also doing other stuff. So what I said was true, from a certain point of view. 😊

I agree, I always like his vids.
Absolutely! His videos are required viewing on a Saturday morning (time zone thing).
I watched this whole build series, it was... fascinating. (No, really - it was!)
this was a great surprise and Norm is a swell guy. I was more than a bit star struck
I really enjoyed watching Lou build this model on his Chanel. Nice to see him get the recognition he deserves
Glad to see you get the recognition you deserve, Lou! And great job as always, Norm!

I watched the vids he did making this. I learn a lot every time I watch him work a kit. The large doomdsay machine he did was fantastic.
Lou’s channel is great.
Mr. Dalmaso is a production machine. You should see his work, he's a master with colors.
Lou is a legend, the paint masks he designs are also great!
So glad to see this! Lou and his channel were the inspiration for me to start my own. Hope I get to meet him one day!

Glad to see Tested spoke with Lou, he does good work.
Great to see Lou getting some attention, great guy!
My Saturday mornings wouldn't be the same without a Lou Dalmaso build vid.
He's required viewing in my home.
His diorama was amazing. ❤
My love for Tested just grows and grows! ❤😊

The coverage of Wonderfest has been amazing! Thank you
That Aztek Dummy is no dummy. Two of my favorite internet hangouts is Lou's place and Tested.
Proud of you Lou!
Such amazing work!

Damaso is fantastic 👏 👌 🙌 ❤
Wonderful! I'm skipping over to Lou's right now! Thank you!
A great diorama, really captures the vibe!
Fantastic and inspiring work from a great modeller! Thanks Lou!
Love Lou's channel and templates!
Love Lou. He does great work!
Man, the Making Of Star Wars diorama was surreal, this one is also surreal. Amazing work on both!
Super neat idea for a model!
its not friday night if I don''t watch Lou's channel or any other day
Now this is what this channel ought to be about.
Love it... I hope he makes an entire series of these.

That's so cool, the diorama really captures a moment in time. I've been thinking of a similar build in Lego,,, now I gotta up my game!
Nice one Lou, well done.
Love it.
I've been mind melded!
This is inspired!
Masterful. Where did you get the figures?
It’s a fun take in the model
Fireball XL-5!!!
Yes I have been waiting for this
Thanks.
Lou is the best
I like the kinks picture book intro it’s very nice!
The thing that bothers me about Norm is how vigorously he gesticulates within inches of these pricless creations. If it was my model, I'd ask him to please take a step back!
Yet Adam touching everything doesn't bother you.... 😅
Art.
Fame at last! great job Lou.
Very nice.
Norm needs to see Neutral Zone Studio in Kingsland GA.
Another cool one.
Neato!
I watched him build that on YT!
Lou!
Nice video sir
wow
What or how much for a 20 min conversion?
only 2 WEEK?????? wow i was impressed at that point, no need to surpass the line 😂
It was a four week project, but if I took the hours that I spent and put them in a row, it was about 2 to 3 weeks of effort. I had other things going on at the same time.
If i had to ask one thing you could build a new stringed instrument? One the world has yet to see.
It should have Shatner having a meltdown.
in the description: "Modelmaker Lou Dalmasco" .... no. Dalmaso. No c.
I love you tho
Nice diorama, ugly box its sitn on.
yeah, I was getting ready to pack it up on sunday when Norm stopped me :)

- And how long did it take, Lou?
- It's about 20-30 minutes I wasn't in a hurry
04:28 "about a 2 to 3 week build"
@@mikeuk666 yeah that was a joke
