How to make WHIPPED SOAP BASE from scratch
Thank you so much, great ❤
Thank you 🙏
The is beautiful,,, thank you so much
Thank you 😊
How do you make this without sci? Can you just use Decyl Glucoside
You’ll need some solid surfactant to create a more solid / cream consistency that you could whip to make the whipped texture for the final product.
You can try SCS or SLSA to replace the SCI, check the pH and adjust it if necessary, from my experience SCS has a higher pH than SCI (at least from the suppliers I buy).
You could also try Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate powder (the solid version not the liquid).
Can I use sls in replace of SCI?
I never tried with SLS.
SCI is milder and more suitable for sensitive skin than SLS so I tend not to use SLS.
You’re the first I’ve seen checking the ph of the soap whip, what happen if the final product ph is too high? How do you incorporate the citric acid solution in to lower the ph?
Hi!
You can add the citric acid or lactic acid solution to the mixture and whip it to incorporate, then check the PH again.
When adding citric acid or lactic acid solution you should add only a few drops, then mix and check again.
You can read more about PH adjustment here:

If you want to use the whipped soap only as a body scrub or body wash you can leave at with 6 PH level but if you want to use it as a shampoo it’s better to lower the PH to 5.
