I've played this on the Xbox 360. If you repeatedly hit the "A" button very quickly while taking the stone. sometimes it will tell you you have taken 2 or even 3 stones.....and they count toward the total.

I grabbed the stones so many times I can just remember where they are at this point. To me, this is an amazing quest since it gives you the opportunity to explore a vast majority of skyrim.

I probably wouldn't have gotten them all If I didn't look at your guide, since 3 of the 4 of the remaining ones were in areas I had already been through and had deemed clear... I'm playing an inundated version and I think I missed the one at the thalmor embassy but can't figure out how to scale up the rocks to get through the hatch😭😭😭😭😤
I did this and now I have a count of 30 amethyst, 27 garnet, 20 flawless garnet, 13 flawless amethyst, 10 ruby, 8 flawless ruby, 6 emerald, 4 sapphire, 3 ruby, 2 diamond, and one flawless sapphire that's about 12000 gold! P.S i got this all only doing one run of bleak fall barrow with prowlers profit!
@@dragonmaster3030 currently have 54 amethysts, 12 flawless amethysts, 47 garnet, 33 flawless garnet, 17 ruby, 3 flawless rubies, 7 diamond, 3 flawless diamonds, 3 emeralds, 9 flawless emeralds, 12 sapphire, and 7 flawless sapphires, as well as all the paragon gems and I'm hoarding the dragon claws, scales and bones, as well as all my ores in the chest in the Archmages room. I literally have game breaking wealth in one chest alone and I'm planning to sell it to the dremora merchant once I get him lol.

Never completed the quest in previous playthroughs but today while I've been sick I decided to run around and find all the ones I hadn't go which was around half missing some of the surprisingly simple ones this video was super helpful in finding all the locations

There is a good glich with the houses. You have to have at least to shouts of Slowing Time and money to buy a house :) 1. Save the game and have Slowing Time as an active shout 2. Buy a house and quickly exit the conversation and immediately use Slow Time 3. In Blue Palace very neraby is a cupboard so when Slow Time is active put all your money in that cupboard after talking with Falk The Firebeard 4. Exit and wait until shout is over 5. You have your own house without spending any money :) You can do that with rooms and equipment :)

I have had Skyrim for some time now. Just in 2021 decided to track down these dumb stones. What a chore that was with an anticlimactic ending lol. Only took me 5 years to decide to get them. Never would have found them without a video like this one.

Or if you don't want to spend 12 years getting these, if you go up to a few of the easy to get stones, you can go into sneak, walk up to the stone and if you press the button to collect thing really fast it will Register as 2 or 3 stones.

i would mostly agree to everyone that saids about the evidence chest because it is not hard just go every single prison and go thru the evidence chest and you will find it trust me i know for sure it will be in ONE of those chests :3

This would be so much easier if the loading screens didn’t take a minute each and that their were at least two loading screens per stone😫
Idk if you still play, but my workaround is turning off the autosave features in the gameplay menu.
This speeds up the loading screens! :D

Dainty sload is also a great place to pick up a high damage scimitar to give yourself an edge early on. Its stats are blades sword equivalent.

7:01 when paying for house, after you say 'I'll take it' I stored all my money in a cupboard and got it all back after I got the key

Thanks the video helped. After years of playing Skyrim. I was finally able to find all 24 . Stones thanks to the video. I never seen one before. Because it was hidden in . A room I never paid attention to lol .
i have a one problem , i took the barenziah's stone from somewhere and someone saw me and took it from me so i think i cant end this quest
just spawn one in? or just go back before that save..

i would mostly agree to everyone that saids about the evidence chest because it is not hard just go every single prison and go thru the evidence chest and you will find it trust me i know for sure it will be in ONE of those chests :3

It helps if you rapidly tap the button to collect them, you can usually get duplicates that will count towards your progress. Saved me a lot of time.
i have 23 stone but i remember going to all these places and getting the stone
I spent 2h running around every location TWICE to find the one I was missing, turns out the Jarl of Solitude sleeps on the bedroom next to the one I was. Thanks for the video man.

As of June 17th 2020...slow time shout still works for getting multiple on one stone. Just smash 'x' and you'll pick up 3-5

Then it suppose to be in the embassy torture room, it is said at 6.29
Maybe you've already taken it? I heard that there was a recent patch that made the gems not move due to them being lost.
