That first pull bouncing off the limiter has to be one of the worst I've seen LOL. I'm going to assume it was not your car 😂 Btw, I've owned this powertrain in a 20 VN. Great engine!
How about some Performance tests? The trip counter resets as there is a menu option to do so.. also wheels are forged and manual car weighs closer to 1445kg. Also the pops and burbles reducing are to do with heat and fuel being burnt before it has chance to pop
It seems like it, but it would be helpful for Hyundai to have some sort of display to determine if the vehicle has that extra boost or not. The implementation of this system is like 80% of the way there.
@@AFatOcelot yeah CVT was no go for me as well. But You can learn really easy with this car, I promise! Clutch is very forgiving and soft for new manual drivers. I'll bet you'll get it down in less than a week ez!! Car is so much fun and gets lots of compliments
@@AFatOcelotlol just learn to drive manual. Makes you a better driver you're more In tuned with the car. It becomes second nature. You control the gears not some sensors. The transmissions tend to last forever on manuals. Just change the clutch every 25 years.
What I've noticed about you youtubers reviewing EN is the exhaust noise level, fart, crackles and pops are toned down. But yours is more pronounced. What happened?
@PRNTestDrive I am asking this because it is the first time this video mentioned it and not other guys. But just saying and without showing, people will not understand. After this video mentioned about it, I looked up in Google, now where it talks about the method.
Just bought one two days ago in dark blue. Best decision of my life.
Also I did worry about reliability but with 100,000 mile powertrain warranty it def IS a no brainer. Plus you can extend the warranty if you want
Congrats on the purchase! Warranties are you best friend, and Hyundai has a pretty solid one.
Cool car. Another reason to get one is there's so few on the road. Civic Type R everywhere
Awesome reason to get one, yes!

💀💀
A No-brainer option.
Definitely seems that way!
Was this exhaust modified?
Completely stock.
@ the 2025 is either quieter or I have to switch to the guest profile to see if it changes
Elantra N 2023 here. Is the issue at 9:24 related to the hpfp update fix? I didn’t update because I wanna tune my car.
It sounds like it from what we understand.

We're limited in what sort of performance testing we can do, as we only have access to public roads.
So if I use 91 to 93 all the time I don't have to do any learning right?

It's been out for years now. No problems at all.
Glad to hear that!
i went with an integra A spec 6sp instead of this. Love it so much
Hope it works out well for you, congrats on the purchase!
I was back and forth between those but can’t drive manual and CVT is a no go

@@fromisheon4867 Victor explains this in the video.
@PRNTestDrive yeah I watched that but the instruction is not clear. I wish if he shows us actually how to do it, it would be great.

Why did that first pull sound like farts? 😂
🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
If you think that sounds like farts wait till you hear the lovely DCT farts 💨
Those exhaust pops are completely asinine.
Fair enough!
Said no sports car enthusiast ever
you turn turn it off in the settings.
The ugly is the car
Fair enough, might not be for everyone!
I agree with you, but I love everything else about it.
