I was a big fan of Birdies’ hot chicken sandwich when I tried it - also enjoyed their salad. What I loved the most was their fries. It’s hard to find good fries and they have some of the best in the city!

Damn those chicken sandwiches looked good i definitely need to go there at some point. I might have a recommendation for you if your ever in Mississauga theres a chicken sandwich spot called the chicken cartel thats pretty good . Went there after watching furious pete review last year you should check that out for a good idea of the place.
I feel you, economic conditions are making it tight for many. Birdies does do 3 chicken tenders for under $10 if I'm not mistaken, and Daddy's has a smaller chicken sandwich that is $7. Maybe go that route? Working on a cheap eats video. Won't have fried chicken sandwiches but will still have other tasty bites.

I think you need to do a food crawl at SkyCity. I've only managed to do 3 restaurants there, but theres just too many to try in 3 or 4 visits.
