Always a pleasure to hear your musings from the woods. What an idyllic picture you present of the lifestyle you have carved for yourself and I’m pleased it’s working out for you. I agree about Zoom it’s very special in these peculiar times. Hope to talk soon.

I love watching your videos and listening to you talk about issues that resonate with myself. I've only just returned to pipe smoking after a two year break, I don't know why I stopped. I love Coniston cut plug, it's my favourite blend. I've got some brown flake scented on the way too. I subscribed to your channel after your BLM video I liked what you had to say. You know what, sometimes I think the universe has a way of pushing is in the direction it wants us to go. I'm studying towards a degree in philosophy and religion, which through various things I've studied and read has given me a really deep interest in animism and ecological issues as a living philosophy, just a real different way of doing things, because we all know we can't carry on a society, doing the things the way we are. It's strange how I keep finding folks such as yourself that speak so well about things close to my heart, I was just looking for tobacco reviews. I don't know maybe I'm talking bollocks. Anyway thanks for your videos.
    Take care
    Dave.

That's really nice of you to say, thank you, Dave. Hell yeh, I've often said that if I won the lottery I'd do PPE at Oxford, just to get some degree of insight into what is being taught as par for the course for our so-called "leaders" in this country. Besides that, it'd be a good excuse to just sit around all day drinking beer, smoking pipes, and reading Plato, Bertrand Russell, and Edward Abbey. Anyhoo, I'm glad to have your company on the videos. Take it easy, fella. Cheers

Good to hear from you again, Leo. The CIC idea is a forward looking strategy. What better to create a sustainable business that gives back to the local community.
Social discourse certainly seems to be on wane these days. Gilbert's lyrics seems almost like a radical notion:
    "In a contemplative fashion, ‬
    ‪And a tranquil frame of mind, ‬‪
Free from every kind of passion, ‬‪
Some solution let us find. ‬‪
Let us grasp the situation, ‬
    ‪Solve the complicated plot - ‬‪
    Quiet, calm deliberation ‬
    ‪Disentangles every knot." ‬
    (The Gondoliers)
The notion of a social contract at least here in the U.S. also seems to have been forgotten.Still there is reason to hope.
Be well, stay well, and keep it awesome - peace

a little civility goes a long way. its easy to get out of line if there isn't another face looking back at you. easy to be a troll. not so easy to discuss things and be respectful at times. but it works better overall to be civil. have respect. lovely looking area there.
