I actually just pulled out an old jar of Dark Twist that bit a little when new. Has maybe 5-7 years on it. Noticeable improvement - darker, smoother, lightly sweet on the nose - very nice. I like (and have) a few tins of the roll cakes - Dark Twist and Stockton, mostly. Mmm... Cubans. I smoked cigars for a bit getting off the cigs - maybe 15 years ago. Enjoyed them, and got into them quite a bit. The problem was I was getting up to $5 to $10 a stick and was getting up to 5-7 a week. Thought about dropping $25-50 a week, and that ended that. I started fiddling with pipes after that. Cubans - tried a couple, and they were good, but not $25+ a stick good. Haven't had anything other than a Toscano for a long time. Edit to add (you might appreciate this) - people I knew/met that smoked cigars (or talking to folks that worked in/owned cigar chops) we kind of right wing tools. 😅
Thanks. It's an old Somerset barn conversion which is mostly open plan with a mezzanine floor upstairs. With the exception of that skylight, pretty much all the south side of the house (to my left) is windows, so we get lots of natural light. Thanks for watching and commenting
Very disappointing to find a cigar that just wont smoke. Very little frustrates me more than that. Its a rare experience for me. Ive only smoked one cuban that was given to me by a Canadian back in 04. One of the first cigars i smoked. I don't remember much about it. I like Nicaraguan cigars these days. Brickhouse churchhills are a favorite also. Though they are a bit hard to find lately hereabouts. One of the reasons i rarely smoke cigars on video is that i dont want to come of as rich and all the shite that comes along with that. Im certainly not. Cigars are a treat. Ill give your recommendation piper a look. Good to see ya mate
