Such a great looking steam mop and a perfect review. I need one of these for my kitchen!

How do you feel it compares to a traditional mop? Does it work better? Is it for laminate floors, preferably?

I would say it works better than a traditional mop. With a traditional mop, I have to push down and put my back into it to get some spots clean, however, with the steam mop, the steam does that work for me and I hardly have to try. You can definitely use it on laminate floors and it works great on them. The instructions do state that the mop works on laminate floors, however, you should look into your floor manufactures care instructions just in case. Thanks for the comment!

Mine stopped steaming. I’ve only had it 2 months. Has anyone had this issue?

I just bought one yesterday and it stopped steaming after it ran out of water and I refilled it. Now it's working again. Probably operator error...lol.

My brand new one that I just got from Amazon will not turn on or make steam. I am using distilled water. There's a clear tube with a white plastic end free floating around in the water receptacle. Maybe that's the problem?
