I like the vacuum, but there is no place to hang the mini tool. Also this works well on low pile carpet but will suck the life out of the battery. I don't have high thick carpet so don't know how it works. While the jet brush is easy to access and clean the smaller multi tool isn't. This is great for a quick run through the house. If you plan on dep cleaning you will have to stop 2 or 3 times to allow the battery to recharge.

You can use other solutions - they have to be low suds. Tineco is a scam - their information is conflicting....check the bottle to determine if it's 'concentrated' or not. If concentrated, you use 'less' solution than the cap-full they recommend. You're also paying twice as much. I use Bona Citrus Scent on laminate - it's cheaper.

I see you posted the video about 3 months ago. Are you having trouble with your vacuum keeping a charge? I bought a new battery and it's still not charging just curious if that was an issue

Mine cracked around the nozzle after only 2 months, about 2 hours worth of use. (Purchased 2024) Unlike yours, the cracks in mine are a serious issue as it will fall to bits if I touch the cracked pieces. It astounds me that Makita are still selling these with a known issue, so easily addressed by using a better choice of plastic, and making the end of the nozzle 90° instead of the 45° for the sake of aesthetics. Glad to hear that yours has not crumbled....yet.

Hello. Super vacuum cleaner, it vacuums and wipes at the same time, a couple of years ago I had a Philips, there was an additional mop and it was terrible. It really stains the light floor, but it's not a problem to take a dry towel and wipe it dry before it dries, and the floor is clean and stain-free. Above all, the vacuum cleaner works as it should. Satisfaction.

We just got one and if you leave it parked for a minute it leaves a brown line of liquid on the floor

I purchased mine from Walmart and used it ONCE and I tried charging it, I followed the Manuel I did everything, and my vacuum stopped working … I called Tineco and they will be sending me a new one 😢

Does it work on tiles flooring?

I need to chime in. After 10 days I ran over some loose Berber carpet which got wrapped around the roller. The vacuum did not come with a manual and pulling it up on my phone was too hard to see the diagram of what screw to remove. It has star shaped screws. I tried a few times to get in touch with customer service and finally the chat option was working. They told me I needed a T15 or T20 torx screwdriver “available at any hardware store”. $11 and days later I had to buy a full set of torx screwdrivers at lowes to get the right size, which was the T20, the T15 was too loose. Customer service would not send me a manual, would not supply regular Phillips head replacement screws and told me to buy the wrong screwdriver. So, if you’re here to figure out how to get the roller out, you’ll need to buy a T20 Torx screwdriver. The vacuum is great but I’m disappointed with the customer service on this $$$ vacuum. Thank you for the video as it did help me.

This is a failed brush design same as Dyson. My xiaomi g10 vacuum never have this hair stuck on the brush problem, is amazing but it's broken in 2 years.

How long does the battery lasts?

I don’t think it’s made for larger floors or deep cleaning, more like regular maintenance of small areas. I got one specifically for my bathrooms. I have a tineco for my other floors but didn’t want to use the same mop as my bathroom. In my opinion it’s great for just vacuuming up stray hairs/other bathroom debris and then giving it a quick mop. And then you never have to touch a dirty mop head or clean a dirty filter with bathroom germs. I agree $100 is way too much for what this thing is, but getting it on sale is a really good idea for the purposes I mentioned.

My 90yo parents used silver for their wedding rings. They did wear but it lasted their lifetime.
