My grandma loves card tricks, but has macular degeneration, so she has trouble following the cards (she can see pretty much just the color of the suit). I did this trick for her at Christmas last year, with the Ace of Hearts. I figured it'd be perfect, since it's dynamic, with big motions, and an inspectable reveal. I used gunslinger patter (she LOVES westerns), and when I let her pull the Ace off my finger, she hugged me and started to cry. She hadn't really "seen" a card trick in years. The Ace is still on her nightstand.
Thanks, man. That's all I can say. You gave me a toss and an effect, but you gave my grandma magic back, for a moment. So...thank you.

This wasn't my first introduction into cardistry. It was, however, my first cardistry flourish I attempted and continued to practice since then. You make cardistry not only seem magical but simple which also makes it genuine. Thanks for your videos and inspiration.

My cat loves catching cards too! Yesterday I threw a card from my kitchen to my living room to just get her to leave me alone while I worked on a trick. A few seconds later she was walking back in with the card in her mouth and dropped it at my feet. So I have now successfully unintentionally taught my cat to fetch! She only does it about 50% of the time so hopefully I can get that up closer to 100% and maybe work out a trick using her as my assistant. Great videos!

one advice for us who have thin fingers (or not), when i toss it from my deck (left hand) hand i put my middle and my ring finger under the card that i flicking, it cycle as much as when i put only middle finger, but then when i flick it from my not deck hand (right hand) it is crazy how good it looks when you flick with both fingers (middle and ring) i almost don't use cyclone from deck only for flicking the card back onto the deck
so i combine airbender from my left hand to my right hand and then i'm putting the card back on deck with cyclone, and now i'm on trying to catch it with charlier cut
thank you chris for learning me this two beautiful card tossing/flicking

I tried this once, thought my hands were too big for this (I’m 6’7” tall).
Practiced it 100+ times, now I can nail it 75% of the time!
The key for me was thumb position. Needs to be loose enough to drag cars, but tight enough to keep deck steady.
    Practice makes perfect.

i bought myself a phone over a year ago and since then, my bus time, waiting in line time, etc. has been taken up by my phone rather than cards. I recently found your channel, and along with a bunch of my old favorite youtubers, am getting back into cardistry, mainly flourishing + visual color changes. so THANK YOU so much :D i'm having lots of fun.

Thank you so much for making this video, I've watched it multiple times. The first time I watch this video I was convinced that I had to learn cardistry. I've been practicing it at work for the past two weeks now. It's gotten to the point that I do it so much at work, a guy bet me $100 I couldn't get it to cyclone out if my right hand, go around the back of my head, spin around to the front of my face, and catch it with the same hand that I flung it from. He gave me 3 days to accomplish it, but failed. I didn't win the $100, but It inspired me enough that I really want too land this truck one day. I hope you keep up with these inspirational tutorials.

Hey ever think of using it as like a long toss?! I did cyclone across my house and it flew all the way across try it out. My tip for better cyclone spin is put your index and pinky higher up on the cards, like away from your body.
