10 Inch RPZ Backflow Repair Tips

10 Inch RPZ Backflow Preventer, no problem. My buddy Kurt got a call on a 10" RPZ backflow that was leaking, then he called me to give us a lesson on how to fix a leaking backflow and how to take a big RPZ backflow assembly apart if you have to get to the check valves. I helped him take the dump valve off and clean it real good and it actually solved the problem with the leak. We did conclude that the dump valve does need a new seal, so when that comes in we will show you how to replace it. Best advice if you find yourself working on a big backflow device is, go look up and find all the manuals of the backflow you are working on, watch as many you tube videos as you can find, and don't freak out, you can do it.
