Randy heads to Colorado for a quick two-day elk hunt high in the mountains. He has seen the area he is hunting from the highway as he has traveled across the West, and he finally gets his chance to chase bulls in the shadow of Colorado's 14ers. With limited time, aggressive tactics are needed to try to find an elk before the crew has to head back to Montana.

Gents, thanks for another great video sharing your time afield. It's hard to beat those days hunting in the high country or any landscape. Enjoying what God has made and left for us to enjoy and to watch over.
    Take care, blessings your way.

Yeah, hunting is very important in my life. I'm going downhill fast and it's very very difficult to get out these days. I love watching people who love hunting for hunting sake that don't put an emphasis on the size of the rack. I think every animal I've taken was a trophy because I was out doing what I love to do!! Thanks for the videos and if you ever want to film a hunting trip with a wheelchair/ trackchair user, look me up!! I'm in Billings, MT.

Hey Randy….just want to say that I really enjoy watching your hunts, especially the Colorado elk hunts in the mountains. I’m planning to go on my first elk hunt ever in Colorado with a few friends of mine in 2023, so I’ve got plenty of time to prepare….my question to you is, what clothing do you wear or have in your pack for mid season to late season? Do you wear Sitka? If so, what camo pattern?

It has always been acceptable to hunt for meat. Only recently the trophy hunter crowd has come out with long knives for anyone who kills anything less a booner
