Went on my first deer hunts with my wife 3 years ago. We got skunked. Last 2 years we couldn't go because of wildfires. This year I said "I'm going to hunt, and I'm doing it right". So I made a few scouting trips, put up some cameras to help a little. Seen 1 buck on the cameras, and 1 in person on trip 1. I'm taking my cousin in a week and a half (his first deer hunt) and we're going to be out there opening morning of archery season. I don't care if I get skunked again, I'm happy I got to put in the effort, and I'm confident we'll see deer, even if we don't get a chance at anything to shoot. Thanks for the video, Randy and crew. These continue to inspire me to try, even when scheduling and life get in the way. If Beau can get out and hunt, there's no excuses for anyone else.

Beau’s struggle is real! I know where he’s coming from! Had a drunk driver hit me and damaged my spine! 7 1/2 hours of surgery later and 2 metal plates in my neck and 20 screws in my spine and I am able to get around again! Not able to work but with my boys help I am able to get out and hunt snd be out in the woods with them even if it’s not in the back country! Hunting is life for some people!
Beau is absolutely the epitome of inspiration! I too know where Beau and yourself are coming from. I have 5 fused vertebrae in my spine now and it's taken the outdoors from me for 8yrs now. This year, with God's will, I will be able to hunt with my son. Prayers for Beau, his family, yourself. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🤞✌

This was a hunt to think about, it was more than a hunt. It was about life's challenges and how we work thru them. Cancer 7 years ago and a seizure 3 weeks ago 72 years old but my 14-year-old son and I are planning our next elk hunt. The Lord God has been good to me. I'll be thinking about you Beau.

Randy I have watched pretty much every video you have and this was by far the one that hits home the hardest for me. It is also by far my favorite. I lost my best friend last February (2021) with only 1 elk hunt under our belt. We had been saying someday since the early 90s but we let things get in the way - family, work, life the usual. Anyway in 2018 I drew the line and said that was our year. I am so darn glad we made that one hunt. I continue to elk hunt with his little brother, my sons, and now this year his son. I really appreciate your work and reminder next season isn’t promised. God bless you and especially Beau.

It really does put things in perspective. Watching what he’s gone through and still able to persevere makes me feel like I need to up my game.
