Does anyone else think Shenron is actually really hot? Shenron is the reason I work out. I have this fantasy where we start talking at the Vanity Fair Oscars party bar. We exchange a few pleasantries. He asks what I do. I say I loved him in Dragon Ball. He laughs. I get my drink. "Well, see ya," I say and walk away. I've got his attention now. How many guys voluntarily leave a conversation with Shenron? He touches his scales as he watches me leave. "Discipline," He says quickly, looking up into my eyes, before changing the subject. "Where are you from?" "Bermuda," I say. "Oh wow. That's lovely." "It's ok," I admit. "Not everything is to my liking." "What could possibly be not to your liking in Bermuda?" He inquires. "I don't like sand," I tell him. "It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere."

I like how Shenron is in the game. He's a cool and fun little gimmick, but he's not part of the meta and I don't think he should be. Maybe they could make it a little easier to summon him but it's not necessary at all.

Shenron serves little purpose when you're on the winning side. It can absolutely be a game changer when you're on the losing end(and lets be real, we've all been on the losing end). Now, whether you were on the losing end AND managed to snag Shenron? Can't speak for any of y'all. But I have, and aside from "make me immortal", which is a total joke, the other three wishes helped me make a full comeback when I'm going 1 to 3. I don't think I need to explain how those wishes would help.
For real, what's the point of the immortality one? Spark does basically the same thing and buffs you. Healing that slowly doesnt matter.

@@McSaumon So you basically have to have a character in the back with a ton of blue life...but why not just leave them back there to recover it naturally and restore your health, or get a new spark, or a 3rd character. Make me immortal is trash. It needs to restore non blue health but more slowly.
@@yoursonisold8743 It was in the same boat roughly before they doubled blue life damage, so immortality was effectively cut down by 66%. Now it heals at the same rate as max sparking, but you can't heal anywhere near as much now.
I lowkey forgot this mechanic exist.

Not too long ago, I had this match where my opponent was down to his last character, around 60% health.
I notice all 7 dragonballs and I have 7 bars. I've been playing better than this guy, so I decide I'm going for it.
I land the light autocombo, wish for sparking since I already spent mine and was in kill range, spark and extend the combo as much as I can, then fire off Android 21's lvl 1 into UI Goku's lvl 3 for the hypest finish I've ever done, in the only time out of the 1500+ ranked matches I've played that I EVER summoned Shenron.
Is what I wish had happened. What really happened was I timed UI Goku's lvl 3 too early, causing Android 21's super to miss, and my opponent hung on by just a sliver of health. I still won, but I felt robbed that day.

For anyone curious, the Shenron mechanic does have an useful purpose: Raid Boss fights. You see, playing ranked online matches may not be the best place to summon our lovely mystical dragon friend, but it sure is helpful to have Zamasu's healing powers with 3 Renegeration Level 6 + the "Make me immortal" wish, or you can revive the friend that MUI Goku killed with his 2 bar super and keep the dream alive (for like 3 extra seconds). You can plan ahead for Shenron on Raid Boss because the IA is pretty dumb and just tries to destroy you with 3 bar supers, and you know, because it's cool. So go try it! Now, just go, yeah, stop reading this and go play good ol' FighterZ and grab those Dragon Balls!
Curious if SS4 Gogeta will change the Shenron meta and by how much. Him being able to gather balls the way he does seems to be a recognition by ArcSys that Shenron kinda blows and Gogeta is their way of making him somewhat relevant in the game’s last bits of life.
Plot twist: Everyone prefers to use his super for the fucking oneshot

This reminds me of Reimu's Fantasy Heaven, except if you manage to get all the hits required to activate those balls, the subsequent attack instakills and is nigh impossible to avoid. Breaks shield, lasts for longer than you can graze through it, does a shitton of damage quickly... and it's still bad because of how hard it is to activate.
The last thing I expected to see in the comments was Reimu's ultimate move.

Just give each opponent their own ball counter, combine the methods by giving a random ball after a 30+ hit combo, and tie activation to a command instead of a full meter. There, problem solved.

Nah, Shenron was always supposed to be a gimmick. People were literally preparing pitchforks when the game released because they didnt want Shenron to ruin the purity of the game. Until they realized he is only for scrub play and then everyone was placated.

How to fix Shenron: make him playable
If it were up to me, I would make it to where the first two dragon balls are determined by the first two digits of the combo (e.g. 21 hits gives you 2 star and 1 star) after that the system returns to normal.
