I worked in bars for nearly two decades. Worked in several pretty rowdy college bars as security. Not once did I ever see a fight breakout in a bar, someone simultaneously scream "Bar fight" and then everyone in the place just begin randomly hitting each other. This movie is really dumb at times.
well, since i unplugged years ago, i'm not complaining. I get to see what i'm missing out on...not much. Spoilers tend to reveal the best scenes, and everything else you paid for is filler.
There's nothing to spoil. It's another talentless creatively devoid remake that is full of unnecessary DEI characters and wokescold messaging. Do yourself the favor of skipping it and watch the actually good original.

Doug Liman's masterpiece Road House 2024 maybe be considered, according to the American Film Institution, one of the greatest movie ever made, and for very good reason. This movie is about the life of Elwood Dalton, and the meaning of his last words: "Rosebud".
No sense in purchasing this on blu-ray when it comes out, I think I've seen the entire movie in clips, but of course I will anyway, I'll have to add it to my other 1600 blu-ray movies, along with the original

Jake was great but he needed a greater villain , mcgregor was a vegetable , the bad guys were weak .
