There an old story in allot of the text books about these cars showing up in Italy for a big
race against the Italian Auto Union team, their care was 10 years old, but they cud't
make a faster car, these benzes lost to that car in 1933, Hitler was there to see that.
The car in the video is from 1934. Are you saying that it lost in 1933, a year before it was even made? Are you also saying that in 1933, it was already 10 years old, even though it hadn't been made yet? Please clarify.
They did not return to racing until 1934 as already stated
Auto Union was a German company, not Italian.
AU was an ancestor of Audi.
@@echassin The 1934 Grand Prix was won by Alfa Romeo, and this Benz car had
supercharger trouble, the other Benz had brake failure, so this is a race that is on youtube.
