Teaching is one of the most gratifying experiences you can have and you can learn a lot from teaching others. I understand how it could be dangerous, but people will vote with their feet and avoid what doesn't work for them.
Yeaaaaaah but thats exactly what she and other popular "how to stream" creators are doing. They make their money off the traffic of "helping" others. I'm not saying they dont offer sound advice just that they leave out the part that their niche market involves these exact "tutorial" videos.
@@Dd-mt5ol(This is my other account) Oh if I only knew how my life would change 3 years ago. I got an entirely different job making more than double as I was before. Wouldn’t say that’s big money, but I’m finally living comfortably. Thought streaming would be what would get me out of my financial crisis. It didn’t, but I met some cool people through it. It also made me appreciate the work it takes to do this sort of thing.
Great video as always Ash!! - I'm an affiliate (applied for partner a few weeks ago - fingers crossed!!) averaging in the 90ish viewer range right now, and becoming one of the lager streams in my category. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a video where you go more into depth about how small/medium creators can begin to seek out partnerships? Should we reach out to smaller companies? Make a one page media kit? How to pitch yourself as a marketing partner? This sort of information is so, so hard to find, I'd be so grateful if you elaborated on the process of how you got sponsorships at your viewership range. Thank you so much!!

EU doesn't even have Twitch bounty board yet. Twitch isn't as popular in smaller countries. Also tipping / donation culture is not as big in EU.
While the opportunity is better in America and English speakers, the ceiling is WAY higher for non English speakers. Think Ibai, he gets insane viewership numbers and works with lots of sponsors. His average viewership is 83k and his max was 540k this year. While it is next to impossible. It can be a reality for some (maybe not ibai numbers, but still respectable #s)
that explains some things. Now I think about it, it's the US streams where I see bits and tips getting dropped. All my UK streams the most I tend to see is the odd gift sub.

I feel as though you were talking to me a bit in this vid. ;) So what did we learn in this vid?
