I agree and confirm that there are no restrictions for US citizens visiting Russia other than obtaining a visa, which has always been a difficult process. Otherwise, Americans are no different from anyone else. Moreover, in Russia it is customary to help foreigners in everything, given that they are guests and it is more difficult for them to function in a foreign country.

The Soyuz spacecraft with the cosmonaut projection (12:44) is enough for me to greatly admire the achievements of modern Russia. The first people to reach the space. 👏👏
Speaking of the Russian space programme, many years ago in London's Science Museum, there were exhibits on show of Sputnik satellite, probes and whole lot more. It was on lone from the government in Moscow. To top it off, there were pictures and videos taken of it and may published it online.

Chechenia stand is quite strange 😅😅😅 But how amazing that expo!! I always look after it in Google Earth so someday I'll go there, but is nice to it from the inside.

I think you're right, even if it was sarcasm. The USSR created a special psychology that could not be completely destroyed. Russians have largely transferred Soviet ideas about justice into modern reality.

However, you didn't answer my point about Kadyrov's Chechens killing, raping, robbing and torturing civilians next door in Ukraine. They are there fighting for better money than they can possibly earn in poor Chechnya just like the other non-European soldiers in the poor eastern regions like Buratia or Yakutia while mobilisations in big ethnic Russian cities like Moscow or St Petersburg are kept to a minimum for fear of unrest.
