Spark Arrestor Cleaning | Honda CRF250L

Part of the 4k mile maintenance on the CRF250L is cleaning the spark arrestor to maintain peak performance and ensure proper function. The spark arrestor prevents sparks from the combustion process from exiting the muffler and potentially starting a fire.
The tools you'll need are:
3mm & 5mm hex keys
8mm socket & ratchet
Wire brush
Rubber mallet

I guess I learned something I have to check my bike is around 13k km so that's 8000 miles.

There you go! My bike was quite a bit over that when I checked it for the first time, so I think the 4k mile recommended interval is a bit overkill. But, it doesn't hurt to check every so often. I'm sure it also depends on what kind of riding you do and the quality of fuel you're using as well.
